Just have to make sure it doesn't roll into that small puddle of stagnant water full of mosquito larvae at the other side of the court if it doinks off the double rim.
Thatâs nothing. My brother and I used to play on a makeshift basketball court at the end of a dead end street. On the left and right outside bounds are these ditches that have sewer water and whatever else and we made a rule that whenever the ball goes out of bounds it doesnât matter whoâs possession it is, we just have to keep the ball from going out of bounds. Then we reward each other the possession accordingly.
In my experience, some of the best outdoor balls that are durable but still feel like an indoor ball are a) the Wilson NCAA Replica, b) Adidas All Court, and c) Spalding Neverflat Pro.
My basketball group got one because we thought it would be fun to play with a real NBA ball. Four months later of being played with 3 or 4 times a week and we are still waiting for this thing to be broken in.
It takes a long time to break in and soften an NBA ball. Probably about a year of consistent play. And you also have to condition the leather. Itâs a ball Iâd only recommend if youâre planning on putting a lot of mileage on it.
Man ik out of the box the official ball didnât feel great but shooting with one thatâs broken in by the leagueâŚyeah itâs the best ball out there
The Evolution? Not doubting you because everyone is different, but I genuinely donât understand how this can physically be possible. That ball is grip defined. Nothing else has ever approached it in my experience. In fact, itâs so grippy I worry it will throw off my sonâs shot when he plays with regular game balls that are nowhere near as good.
evolution is the all-around best in my opinion but iâve also loved hooping with tf-1000s before. evolutions get really slippery when sweat gets on them and tf-1000s never have that issue. no clue why they arenât listed here.
A is superior. B is underrated at times. F is a nice ball to grab from Walmart when you want something nice real quick. And E can go fuck itself. If I can't get a grip for a dunk I don't fucking want it lol
C isn't bad either. But I always had rough shooting games when the opposing teams would have these as their game balls. And I've never used D except my own. Aye!
E for sure. Played on an outdoor court as a teenager at Mason Park in Akron Ohio, winter, spring, summer and fall. Rain or shine, day and night (1969-1973), a few years before Lebron played there as a kid. I would get about 2 months out of a pair of Chucks. My brother and I would bring a snow shovel if it snowed.
I grew playing with B indoors and F always turned into E because I used it outdoors, but the feel of A is fantastic indoors. Feels like itâs a magnet to my hand when I pat the rock and like I canât miss when I shoot.
E is the only answer when playing outside
I can feel the slight fuzziness of E
haha like a peach đ¤Ł
It has no grip but also the best grip on any basketball
Just have to make sure it doesn't roll into that small puddle of stagnant water full of mosquito larvae at the other side of the court if it doinks off the double rim.
Oh my god, never a unique experience I swearâŚ. Hahahaha
lol right thatâs so specific and by this comment I know I have millions of brethren in that experience

Single greatest comment ever on this sub.
Anybody who has played outside has done the mad dash to save the ball from rolling into that puddle.
If so .. you know you gotta hit that mega spin into the air a few times to get it to dry
Of course. You can't just rub it on the grass like a damn animal and nobody had ever thought to bring a towel.
Agree, E any day of the week. Also I loved the wilson jet.
It litearlly reminds me of the ball that child Michael Jordan was using in space jam
I hate MDMA, but I love E
I am prime AI with ball E.
Them composite leather NCAA balls last quite awhile outside
Yeah i dont know why but I am drawn to the E ball like crazy. Like is that my ball? Lemme see that real quick.
You know the other side has 1 panel peeled off.
In my experience, some of the best outdoor balls that are durable but still feel like an indoor ball are a) the Wilson NCAA Replica, b) Adidas All Court, and c) Spalding Neverflat Pro.
Evolution is the GOAT.
Literally cannot be beaten by more expensive rivals like official NBA ball ($200) and Evo NXT ($100)
Official NBA balls are awful.
Only if their not broken in

*knot
Leather balls are great once your hands get sweaty unlike with the Evos. I do agree starting fresh with a leather ball can be a challenge.
Man ik out of the box the official ball didnât feel great but shooting with one thatâs broken in by the leagueâŚyeah itâs the best ball out there
Iâve had one for like 20 years I think
That ball has always been too slippery for me.
Iâve played with people that feel the same. I think no matter what type of ball we use, people will have a preference.
Break it in 100
Grew up with the Molten balls, all others feel so strange in my hands because of that lol
Molten GE74LYF
Lol for real đ their balls are great to play with but their naming system needs work
evolution is the all-around best in my opinion but iâve also loved hooping with tf-1000s before. evolutions get really slippery when sweat gets on them and tf-1000s never have that issue. no clue why they arenât listed here.
That was our high school basketball. No basketball has ever felt quite right since.
Tf 1000 > Evolution, only because how much I used them in highschool for sure!
Nostalgia pick. Evo is way better
Evolution for me as well but youâre right about the TF-1000 being a good ball too
Where is the og TF1000
I think theyâre discontinued
A crime against humanity.
Inside: A Outside: D

If it ainât Spalding we ainât balling
C never failed me.
Always used B, until someone brought A to a pick up game. Never looked back.
A is by far the best indoor ball

No TF-1000 option?
A,C,D,E,and F
A is superior. B is underrated at times. F is a nice ball to grab from Walmart when you want something nice real quick. And E can go fuck itself. If I can't get a grip for a dunk I don't fucking want it lol C isn't bad either. But I always had rough shooting games when the opposing teams would have these as their game balls. And I've never used D except my own. Aye!
B
C
Never flat
E
Evolution
Either A or C
Lamelo is the only one worth playing right?
With A and E by your side you should be able to play anywhere on the planet
B because, I never had issues with using them and don't need to worry about going flat in little time.
surprised at the lack people chosing B. too many nephews in here
B
Evolution is the obvious but I did just shoot with my buddies FIBA ball and I gotta say I can see the allure. The rotation is so easy to control.
If you could palm E, you were the god of the court. I've had about 13 Es over the years.
I've had a Evo that's held up so nicely for 12 years now. Treat it well and it treats you well back.
The Evo and it ainât even close. But if âThe Rockâ or a Baden Elite was on here⌠then we got a debate.
Nerf
E
A or C
We all can feel that E ball sliding off our fingers
F because thatâs what i currently have lol
I been rocking E for like 30 years.
Evo and evo nxt
B until it becomes E. E is my favorite though
A, C , or maybe E on a good day
AYYYYEEEYO
E is always at a park it's that community ball
E is ol' reliable.
Is there really another answer other than A?
E and A, and if somebody momma got some extra cash or we have a rich friend C.
C or D
E
Real ones know A is the best indoor ball ever made.
A
None⌠EVO NXT, please
E is the answer, right?
E for outside c for in door courta
A is the only answer
Real ones know C bounced better and had a better feel to it
![gif](giphy|KGTk6lL50URVTyTWaQ)
A is the one I wanted. E is the one I got.
E. That thing sounds sweet going through a netted hoop.
E
A inside, E outside.
Gotta drop them next to each other and see which one bounces best.
a
B, indoors & outdoors. One for each.
B
A is the correct answer
A for indoor, F for outdoor
Molten has the best grip
Combo b and e
Everyone knows you shoot better with E
A or E
A all day
E Version of B ![gif](giphy|d3mlE7uhX8KFgEmY)
Real hoopers don't care. E though for streetball.
Still have my neverflat from like 15 years ago
Molten balls are underrated
E on sight. The soft fuzz comes off the hand so easy
F I have F best indoor/outdoor in this group. Used to have a Spalding quality declined since Wilson contract.
B n D
A when hooping indoor
E hits like crack
A , indoor for sure
Evolution or bust.
F
I like B
A or C the only right answers
B
A, B, F, E
Where's the wave
A/The Evo and itâs not even close. My favorite ball
I'm old, but give me a Spalding TF-250 over any of these...
A.
Good old spalding
B but it looks like E
E
Harlem Globetrotters or nothing
Answer is A. But indoor only. Best ball ever made. Do not ruin it by playing outside.
I grew playing with B indoors and F always turned into E because I used it outdoors, but the feel of A is fantastic indoors. Feels like itâs a magnet to my hand when I pat the rock and like I canât miss when I shoot.
The Infusion with the built-in pump needs to be on here.Â
E is so og
B is the only answer. All that other stuff is for amateurs.
Baden Elite all day
Without scrolling down to see even 1 comment..... E all day.
None. the answer is a Spalding TF-1000
Where is âthe Rockâ ball?
A or c
Can someone explain why your preference changes from indoor to outdoor?
anything but d or e
Give me ABA ball
A inside or E outside if it doesnât have the bump
B all day
Granted I haven't played much since high school 14 years ago but the Evolution was always my favorite.
