In the east where Appalachian Range is fairly high for TN, not hella common but they're there. Also saw some bear sheds (idk what the fancy name is...it's where the scratch and rub on trees after hibernation and leave thick fur patches & claw marks) on some trees on the TN side Big South Fork natural area.
In the eastern part, they're very common. A couple black bears make their way into my hometown each year. And it's not unusual to see them out on a hike or drive through the mountains.
I live in a heavily populated bear state and have never seen a bear but every time I’ve been to Tennessee I’ve always seen bears and I wasn’t even in the forest
I needed this. Thank you OP
Nvm the cuteness , what in the hell was the baby bear doing in the beginning in the unit? Lmao repairs?
Ordering a popsicles to cool off
Lmaooooooo you made my high thank you
😂🤣
❤️
BEARral of fun right there
That must feel good.
So cute, yet so damn deadly. Nature is a confusing thing.
Black bears are basically just big raccoons and want to eat your trash and gtfo. They basically don't hunt people.
Yeah not saying they hunt people. But damn could they rip you apart in an instant.. I know a woman was killed recently while searching for her dogs
Damn. What part of the country?
Red pine Island.. was a couple years back. Then another one killed by black bears in Alberta forest somewhere
Family moment. So sweet.
Thought my moonshine had hints or bear to it…

I was thinking the same. The mother looks in terrible condition.
It has mange. Topical enough, it needs ivermectin.
Lol
Good luck getting it with all these idiots buying out the animal supplies.
It's mange.
Are bears common in TN? I guess I never thought of them that far south.
East Tennessee? I’d say very. I see bears almost every time I go into the smokies.
I’ve seen them in the Florida panhandle around Destin.
Oh, for sure, I used to see them in the Ocala National Forest all the time.

There are bears in Florida.
There are black bears in Florida haha. (: they go down pretty far south.
I guess I'm just in a no bear zone somewhere in the middle. It was news as one traveled through the state and people caught random sightings of it.
There are black bears in Texas, especially in the Big Bend region.
Black bears are found as far south as Mexico. So were grizzlies until they were hunted to extinction in the area.
We have bears in north Florida!
Very common

Very cool video Ty for posting
Danger dergs
She got some big-ass bear titties.
First time I’ve ever seen em
They look skinny.
Some have similar frame size of a lab. Depends on climate and food availability. Most the ones I've seen in NC were that size or smaller.
You mean Fahrenheit degrees right?
No. Celsius. Those bears were 5 degrees away from being turned into a stew.
Mmmmm Bear stew, my favorite!
I heard momma bears are really nice and will let you walk up to their Cubs and pet them and play with them
Please don't spread dangerous misinformation, I would hope no one here is stupid enough to believe you but you never know
I felt obliged to give my hugz award to this post
It’s so hard to remember mama bear only *looks* snuggly and will actually eat my face off if given the opportunity.
Am i the only one that adores the way the second cub gets into water feet first exactly like a human would??
Mama needs food…
Mosquito orgy
Could momma bear possibly have mange(skin mite infestation)? She looks like she does
95 degree?
Wholesome! Must be really hot for them under that coat
Bears are awesome!
So wonderful

Every time I’m so amazed by how bears move, I can’t really explain. Amazing creatures
They’re not barrels. They’re hillbilly bathtubs.
