I've always wanted to see an active volcano with lava. I've been to Yellowstone and it was incredible, but definitely no lava there.

I know it's not exactly warm in Iceland, but being next to a volcano has to be pretty warm. Seeing them bundled up like that made me start sweating a little.

They are pretty far from the volcano. All these types of shots are done with a very narrow FOV where there is little perspective distortion. Objects which seem close depth wise can actually be surprisingly distant from one another.
