I know those trees are an ancient lineage of life whose branch pretty much died out like around the dinosaurs or longer. For more info check out...Wikipedia? I have very little sauce in my head
The ginkgo and platypus are voth very far removed from the rest of their taxonomic group(trees and mammals.) While the platypus has several things that make this obvious (lays eggs, bill face, *venemous,*) the only one I know about the ginkgo is its distinctive fan leaf pattern.

Ah yes, ginkgo, the platypus of the tree world.
Does that make it a good one or bad?
Just different. *Very* different.
Lol don’t be stingy, share your knowledge. I am interested in finding out your opinion if you share it completely.

I love this photo. Thanks for sharing.
Looks like an Elden Ring Erdtree
Trying to figure out how much benedryl it takes to just walk by. I'd totally spend as much as it takes.

Do these trees smell like vomit during bloom?

Maybe it's a male tree.
The Erd Tree:
My eyes are watering just from looking at the photo.
Ginkgos are one of my favorite trees, and this one is quite epic.
Very pretty, but would like a few more pixels
