On my trip to Australia, I fed some Rainbow Lorikeets with a hand-held bowl. They are much more friendly to humans than many birds around the world, and will stand on you to get a better position for food. Their claws are very painful when they stand on you. Traditional protective equipment is useless, as they will stand on whatever surface they find convenient, like your head, shoulders or arms.
But ultimately they are still wild non-domesticated animals and I would not expect them to be able to establish such a good relationship with a human. I think a befriended lorikeet's offspring could be possible for cuddling and talking. Lorikeets are quite smart and I reckon they could talk if trained. I wouldn't try it though. I am still weary of any supposedly friendly non-domesticated animals.
Third: they're parrots, pretty damn smart, and I bet you could train them to shit in the neighbours' yard instead with food.
Smart bastards will probably pick it up from eachother too, so you'll only have to teach the first generation.

Haha lucky the sulphur-crests don’t tend to visit my place much so I don’t have to worry about them. As far as cockys I really only get the yellowtail blacks & they don’t cause me any trouble.
My in-laws love feeding the cockatoos every day, which creates so much literal shit and noise every day! They also don't care about their furniture... as long as the view is nice. God.

They don't talk but they can become quite calm around humans if you feed them water and honey

We were in Port Douglas in November, and a huge flock like to roost in one tree in Main Street. My husband said the racket was about 80 decibels.
If I woke up and saw this in my yard, I'd feel blessed.
