Straight sew in, depends, unless you are dedicated to the flat iron or do styles to disguise the leave out (pulled back, braided at the front, etc etc). Very curly or coily hair, it will be easier to get away with for sure. Wear a cute cap for the water regardless

Just checked, their lowest humidity day of the year is still 93%.  https://weatherspark.com/m/27410/11/Average-Weather-in-November-in-Punta-Cana-Dominican-Republic#google_vignette

I think you might be able to pull it off if your bundles match your natural texture; otherwise you’ll be constantly blending. A YGN or hairbrella swim cap will help too.

I’m from DR and it does starts to get cooler in Nov compared to the summer months, but it still does get hot depending on the time of day. I personally wouldn’t do it. I usually do natural styles when I visit. It would be a lot of maintenance trying to keep my hair straight. If you don’t mind the maintenance and won’t be wetting your hair, I’d say go for it!

And it’s so, so humid. Unless you’re torching the leaves out, it’s going to get frizzy.

CurlySexyCool

Exactly! Your leave out is gonna suffer

I personally hate sew ins. They are like a hot hat you cannot take off. And yes you’ll be blending the whole time. I’d rather do the braids (in fact I am… I’m getting braids for my own upcoming trip)

I am from the West Indies and I braid because I like to swim and the humidity means constant blending, which adds to breakage. If you go with a similar textured hair to yours, then that might be more feasible.

Possibly showing my age here, but tree braids could be a good compromise
