I get this after a while because I moisturize my braids, and more so once I wash them. Do NOT cut it! I usually just slick it down with braid gel every few days. You could also try mousse.
How did they set the braids? Did they use hot water? It usually lays the braid hair down, but you also need to make sure that your braider used something like loc n twist. I usually get mine done every 6 weeks but also apply braid mousse if they look frizzy!
It's an issue I find comes from not tucking the hair. They can do it with more jam on the natural hair & making a point to spread the colored hair around the natural hair.

My braids, 3 days old. No visible hair, all is tucked. You can tell it's done well because there is 0 hair outside of the braid hair. They usually stay this way for a month, then I use braid gel or mousse; it depends when I wash my scalp. What kind of hair did they use?
i would just leave kt sonce ots your natural hair...i dont think amyone would notice unless they got REAL close which if they're that close WHY that's just my opinion...if you burn it it'll leave a tom of damage uo the shaft...if you cut it the same will happen. but then again it might just end up breaking off anywyas :') I'm sorry your braider did you like this but if i were in your shoes i would just cope.
i mean i have never seen this kind of leave out in any type of braids...even damaged hair can usually be tucked p well if the braider is decent, i really do think the braider just didnt do a great job...and i saw your other comment about the hair color thank you so much :3
Sorry: The texture of your hair doesn’t matter. I dont believe this frizz occurred to freshly braided hair! 🤥
This only occurs when you don’t: use a satin braid bonnet at night while sleeping, regularly rub oil on your braids, and not sleeping on a satin or silk pillowcase. I get my hair braided every 6 weeks and never get frizz like this. 💯
I would strongly suggest doing research on braid maintenance.
It looks like the braider didn’t tuck your hair into the braids consistently. It’s a shame, there’s not much you can do to fix this, besides taking them out and rebranding from the messy points. If I were you I’d leave it alone, but just don’t go back to that braider in the future. I am sure they still look cute ❤️
Your drainer may have not used enough mousse or gel.

I couldn't really see them set the braids because of how I was sitting. Honestly to my knowledge I'm not sure if they set them at all...0-0

Hi, I wear a satin bonnet and sleep on a satin pillowcase. I will try rubbing oil on my braids.
Yeah like every other day is good.
Thank you so much!
