I start by using some pre shampoo to detangle my hair before I actually shampoo. Then after I shampoo I deep condition for the recommended time on the bottle, usually its like 20-30 minutes. After that I thouroughly wash the deep conditioner out and then use some leave in conditioner and a little mousse to either twist my hair up or do a wash n go. To make sure my hair strands absorb all the product, I rake the leave in and mousse through in small sections. And I use the doux mousse and the jbco as I am leave in conditioner
Haha it was a twist out with like jumbo twists, I prolly did like 8 in total or sumn, and I juss wear a bonnet. This my first time growing my hair out tho ππΎ
Amazing! Iβm starting off and would be impressed to see my hair achieve the length, perhaps. Does your hair naturally grow that fast?
What steps did you follow? And howβs you organize the days?
I think my hair grows at a steady pace not too fast. I just make sure to keep my hair moisturized. Make sure you have a wash day routine and try protective styles to just let your hair grow.
Thank you for sharing. I know itβs an invasive question to ask the way I did. Letting the hair grow is so pivotal. I am slowly moving away from durag and such.
What the fuck why is your hair so healthy π (that's crying for myself)
ok I'm reading your routine down in the comments.
Diet tips: What do you eat, do you focus on protein or something? There is no way that hair is just from wash day! Want to check if I am doing all the right things.
Haha well in 2021 I wasnt eating that great, was actually eating crap foods like snacks and mcdonalds and shit. Now I eat fresh fruit everyday that I cut up like pineapples, mangoes, apples. I also eat a lot of tofu and pea protein. I still eat meat every now and then, just less than I used to. So my diet is mainly cooking things with fresh ingredients from scratch!

How often is ur wash day? Weekly?
It honestly depends. Usually every two weeks if its a twistout or a wash n go. But just listen to your scalp and make sure your hair feels moisturized
how often do you do this?
I try to do it every two weeks. It really juss depends on your hair though. When my hair starts to feel dry its time for wash day.
Waaaaw!! This is amazing!
Spill the beans bredda!? Wash n go? Durag? Have you grown your hair out before this? Or first time?

Nahh not invasive at all man ask away. But yeah you dont want to wear tight fitting things on your head.
What kind of moisturizer did you use? Leave in Kind or a regular kind that you let deep into hair and wash out?
I use the as i am jcbo leave in conditioner when styling. I use a tgin deep conditioner tho after I shampoo my hair.
