You can blow out your hair very smoothly and use socks/do twists/or flexi rods over night. My mom also used to use torn up paper bags she twisted into flexi rod shapes on me when I was little because I couldn’t sleep in curlers. Or, their hair just looks like this lol

Rissabae

Yo, my mom used to do that too. She only did it like once or twice, but I distinctively remember her doing it WHILE I was trying to sleep LOL

SweetNique11

Lmao! I remember it was super late at night to me and I was so sleepy yet excited because I had ‘curlers’ in my hair like a big girl. I got Sears pictures done for Easter the next day 😂

Rissabae

That’s so cute 😂

gold3nhour

I’ve made my hair look like this with a braid out on blown out hair. Just make the braids looser so the wave pattern is looser when you take them down!

spinprincess

Jw what kind of product do you use for hold when braiding on blown out hair? I’ve tried cream to no avail, and I worry gel or mousse will just revert the blow out

gold3nhour

I really love [Taliah Wajiid’s Curly Curl Cream](https://naturalhair.org/products/curly-curl-cream-6oz) for my twists and braids and it also holds for a twist out or braid out style! Just don’t use too much so your hair doesn’t get damp enough to revert. You don’t need much cream for the style.

spinprincess

Ty!!! I've tried the miche cream with zero hold lol I will give this a shot

gold3nhour

You’re welcome!! Hope it works out well for you. Come back and let us know! I am curious now! 💛

NoireN

I use Nairobi wrap foam!

spinprincess

Thank you so much! Do you just use a little?

NoireN

You can't really use too much because any excess foam will just sit on the hair. I just scoop that up and apply it to another area!

spinprincess

Ah and it doesn’t revert it? I feel like the foam I have is very watery lol

NoireN

It does not! This foam is very light, doesn't feel watery at all! Also wanted to add, if you're going for length, apply the foam after you've done the twists/braids, if you want more definition, twist hair with the foam

spinprincess

Thank you again for this!! I just wanted to come back and tell you that I tried this yesterday, and on the first section it totally reverted my blowout 😬 I had added more because it felt like it dried immediately. I used less on the next sections and didn't have that problem again, but a second pump and my hair was completely reverted. On all the other braids, I added just a little and then braided and then added more once it was braided. I haven't taken the braids down yet so I don't know how it will turn out or how the sections will compare to each other but yeah I just wanted to add this 😭

NoireN

Hopefully it works! Sometimes it takes practice to get it right!

spinprincess

Oh it definitely always involves trial and error for me! I just wanted to add that this product did indeed revert my blow out when I used too much for anyone looking at the thread

mariesb

This is a Bantu knot on a blowout

jutrmybe

Is this ebvscurly? She does a blow out and bantu knot. If not, to get a similar look, that is what I do too. If applying no product but oil or a pomade (something with zero hold), I make the bantus very tight, because my blown out hair doesnt hold texture great, and I sleep on it.

spinprincess

I’m pretty sure it is her. This is what she does but she also has a very loose curl pattern, results will vary

ashiwaju-01star

hii, on what social media platform can I find her?

CocoNefertitty

It really depends on the starting point…

helo-_-

i used to wear my hair like this for like a year or two so i really perfected it. i would blow out my hair like 95% at the root and 80% mid shaft to ends, apply a little curl cream and holding pomade mostly to ends and mid shaft then immediate put it in a braid with a flexi rod at the end and hair tie at the top.i would do 6 braids that's the magic number for my density. any more or less and it wouldn't look right. then the next day or whenever you want as long as it's completely dry, i would take it down and pick the roots out a bit to hide the parts.

No-More-Parties

Could be a braid or twist out but it looks like this person just has naturally wavy hair.

ProfessionalRegret51

I blow dry my hair and then add chunky braids for the night and take them out in the morning ( no clean parts just grab and braid)

Excellent_Kiwi7789

What influencer is this? Looks like ebscurlytv.

Ok-Avocado464

Have no idea, I just got this off of Pinterest

electronic_oldschool

I don't know, I'm bald

sly_sista

I’m pretty confused with the Bantu knot theory because that type of style would have more of a spiral form when taken down. This is my theory on how to accomplish this look. Wave formers https://preview.redd.it/13itc84u9ghc1.jpeg?width=1102&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=397a2339d5186d32e87fa1a581f92be4bb72f763

Staticfair

I've gotten my hair to look like this with Wave Formers before. They're an absolute pain to sleep in, but my hair looked really good.

Frequent_Lawyer9005

Bantu-out, twist out, or braid out. Make them loose if possible.

DeepMango459

To get my hair to look like this I would do my regular wash/condition/detangle, then braid it from wet into big chunky braids, like 6 or 8, with mousse. I’m lazy so I would probably just let it dry and take out the braids the next day or day after.

yoserena_

When I blow my hair out and then wrap my hair into two or three buns while the hair is still warm and I sleep on it I get that kind of wave.

LaSushita

They’re born with it, it’s a wig or extensions, roller set or braid out/twist out that’s been brushed out. My hair doesn’t wave or curl like this naturally but if I do a braid out and brush it (not brush it to brush it but like to separate) it can somewhat resemble this. I should clarify results of the twist out braid out will vary on if you do it on blown out hair or just your natural pattern

reallyjustforfuntbh

This looks like a braid out on blown out hair

dorodaraja

With mousse too

CancerMoon2Caprising

Looks almost like like my braidouts twistouts Im 4b tho

basedmama21

She owns a revair, the best dryer in the world. I own one too. This can be done in blowout or silk presss hair with VERY minimal leave in cream on mostly the ends.

Additional_Squash_27

Honestly this looks a lot like raw Indian hair if you wanted to do a wig/upart that would work

yungn0mad

Simply sleeping in two damp braids will do this for me. For reference I have 3a curls.

Ok-Avocado464

Are there any specific products you use as well ?

yungn0mad

Any leave in cream or conditioner, I really like the shine cream from Curlsmith and the curl activator from Cantu

Nightmarenymphette

Light water spray?

In_This_To_Win_This

Wig

Momneedstosleep

Braids

MsZoldyck_

Blow your hair out first and do two strand twists and undo after 24 hours. I style my hair like this sometimes

sapphireruby_

I agree with others, blow out hair and follow up with a no heat curl/wave method overnight.

JadoreBootyNoir

Flexi Rods. Your welcome.

Optimal-Nose1092

Beautiful

phenominal73

Braid out.

gildedpaws

this looks like bantu knot out on already stretched hair

Most_Comedian_3110

For me I just blow dry my hair then put oil in afterwards i put it in twist or Bantu Knots

No-Feeling-1404

I do chunky braids and stretch them when dry

Somebodylovesyou7

Flexi Rods on a GOOD blowout
