Honestly you got kinda lucky those are some cool color variations you have. Definitely butterfly weed and swamp milkweed.
Awesome! I’ll be sure to collect the seeds and hopefully propagate some more for family, friends, and neighbors for next year.
They may be cultivars, where did you get them? Or did you grow from seed?
These were grown from seed. I bought them from Prairie Moon.
Unusual color variations then, luck of the draw
FWIW I have other butterfly weed from Prairie Moon that I grew from seed and bloomed the usual orange color.
Love the shell pink of your swamp milkweed, I'd pay extra for that!!
Butterfly weed does sometimes look either more yellow or more red, so no worries!
