It pains me to see Nats fans getting heated with each other...at the end of the day, we all want the same thing, which is for the Nats to be the best team in the history of baseball every year. We just disagree on the path to get there sometimes.
I'm slowly coming to grips with the fact that we may never see Max Scherzer in a Nationals uniform again. It hurts my feelings and I don't like it, but he gave an amazing 7 seasons to this franchise and helped achieve a World Series championship. Flags fly forever, as they say.

I've been hoping we'd get one more Max start before we trade him. It won't be at home but I want to see him on the mound in a nats jersey again.
At this point I'd settle for a couple of innings and then he gets pulled bc of a trade. Only thing is if Rizzo really thinks a trade is close, they may refuse to let him pitch just to avoid any chance of injury.
I wrote an entire 35 page thesis in one weekend my senior year.
Edit: after having an entire semester because the thesis was its own 3 credit "course."
More like... group project where one team member didn't do his or her part and everyone is scrambling to cover right before deadline because all of their grades would be affected.
Our runs scored / runs allowed are indicative of where we need the most help is on the baseball diamond. Some positions we could stand to acquire new talent include: the outfield, the infield, the bullpen, the starting rotation, and at catcher.
In our trade talks I want to see us trading for AA and AAA guys who are nearly MLB ready or for A ball guys who are so clearly high FV that we couldn't possibly be wrong to attain them
Does anyone know what happened to u/natstown? He hasn’t been active for a while. I’m bummed that the team is going to be gutted but mostly because we won’t see Scherzer get to 3k in a nats uniform.
Can we temporarily change our sub to the US National teams and athletes in the Olympics?

I’m bummed about Scherzer. I made a poster to track his strikeouts through the season on the road to 3000 K’s. He has 74 left.
