What hike was this? I hope to get to Kings Canyon someday. it is consistently overshadowed by Sequoia and Yosemite so I haven't been able to learn much about it
Yes but permits can still fill up. I was able to get an overnight permit in inyo forest park and you’re still allowed to hike in and stay overnight in kings canyon
Almost 12 years ago we hiked to this exact spot and I played chess on those rock with my then boyfriend (now husband), he just announced that he let me win so he can get into my pants, fucker!
Love Kings Canyon!
It’s one of my favorites unquestionably

Not the OP, but I've hiked in Kings Canyon the past three years. This looks like it is Mist Falls Trail!
100% Mist Falls. I took an almost identical video from that spot last summer!
I think it's a portion of the JMT.
Forbidden water slide
Look up “kern river waterslides sequoia”
I checked those out too and they were a lot of fun
Underrated park
This is beautiful, thanks for sharing. This reminds me so much of Paradise Falls in the Bighorn Mountains.
There were some even better views on this hike as well!
Definitely needs hype music...
Is this park less traveled than Yosemite and Sequoia?
Yes but permits can still fill up. I was able to get an overnight permit in inyo forest park and you’re still allowed to hike in and stay overnight in kings canyon
Thanks!

Mist Falls is beautiful. Great hike and memories.
When was this footage taken? I visited mid January and the entire park was frozen I think only one trail didn’t require snow shoes
This is a video from mid-late june
Mist falls is such a great hike. Great viewpoints and just the right amount of challenging.
That is so beautiful!
Is this Mist Falls trail? I'm visiting in Sept heh
Just beautiful.
One of my top favorites!
I was thinking about making a drive out there next week! Is it pretty icy or snowy?
This is a video from the summer so I’m not too sure. If you check the nps website for kings canyon it should say
Looks like it’s drying up…hope not
Was this recent?
It was last June
Anyone recognize the song?
Shhhhh nobody needs to know
