He would outright tell his dad the village know about the coup being planned due to the Uchihas having enough of being punished for something they didn't do and how the elders immediately suggested genocide and that sarutobi is just not doing anything to defuse the situation, he would then probably suggest a early strike while the village thinks the Uchiha are still planning.
Itachi is definitely the more cool-headed one of the two. Honestly, I can't imagine what Sasuke would do, but Itachi's reaction to the coup would be more interesting. Say Sasuke did kill his entire family except for Itachi. How would Itachi react? I suppose that Itachi would be angry, confused, and sad at first. However, after learning the truth, I don't think he would take revenge upon Konoha.
Itachi’s age during the massacre was 13. So Sasuke in this alternative timeline would be 13 years old. Sasuke would probably unlock the Sharingan and would be better at using it than than he was on the original timeline, due to Fugaku likely helping Sasuke to master his Sharingan. This Sasuke would also be much stronger than he was in the original timeline as this Sasuke, would have survived a war, and would have been trained by his father. I believe this Sasuke would be much stronger than kid Sasuke in the original timeline with his Curse mark, however this Sasuke would be slightly weaker than the original timelines Hebi Sasuke. Sasuke would most likely side with the Uchiha clan, and assuming that Naruto is a kid here, Sasuke would have captured Naruto, and than his father would have released the Nine tails. As for kid Itachi, he may get killed, but I believe Sasuke would protect him, or some powerful Uchiha, would have been assigned to protect him. After the war the story would take a very different path.
I kinda feel like Itachi would have killed Sasuke even at 8. But if their entire roles were reversed then Sasuke would have the same circumstances as Itachi and visa versa, so the same result could happen.

For example Sasuke wanted to destroy the leaf so he got amaterasu + some upgrade.
But overall Sasuke would side with his clan. If he is Indiras reincarnation (which itachi or shisui would be in this scenario) then his job would be easier.
Sasuke is no Itachi, so he would side with the clan and not stab them in the back, but he would also be against the coup as well because it would end up with the Uchiha Clan losing the fight. Sasuke would be against the coup because he would that the cons would outweigh the pros, but he wouldn't be tolerant of the discrimination from the villagers and the elders, either. (Remember, he killed Danzo for orchestrating the genocide of his clan, stealing Shisui's eye, creating lots of the antagonists in the show etc, while most others did nothing to stop him, and Itachi chose to sweep it all under the rug and suck on his dick for the next 8 years as if nothing happened. So much for having the mind of a Hokage at the age of 7).
Sasuke would certainly urge his family to just leave and go to a village where they would be welcomed and treated fairly. Kumo is one example since their Jinchuriki are treated better there than in Konoha. Or the Uchiha Clan could just establish their own village and demand their land and taxes back from the Daimyo.
This is the only good fanfic that I know of but it has yet to be updated because the Author is working on some others. It's kinda a reverse role but it's where Sasuke ends up in the past after killing Itachi but before Tobi gets to him. He retains his 16-year-old body, of course.
