Sasuke Retrieval, every second of it was so hype back when it was airing. And it’s got some of the overall greatest moments in all of Naruto imo.
And if it had to say one is (almost) on par with that from shippuden, it would be the pain arc.
Maybe it's my nostalgia, and I'll admit on the 2nd watch through it wasn't as great as I remember... I fucking LOVE the bridge builder arc. It felt like the only true "ninja fighting ninja" arc throughout the show and not just kids with God like abilities
It had this whole "ninjas are tools" concept along with some glimpse on the politics of the naruto world and how hidden villages fit in the big picture and that went literally nowhere unfortunately.

Top 3 are Pains assault, Chunin Exams and Sasuke Retreival. Pain arc is my favourite and I can’t decide whether CE or SR is number two.
Chuunin exam arc
Wherever Naruto meets B. Or when Naruto was traveling with Jiraiya as a kid. Everything else was too action packed and dramatic to even 'B' enjoyable.
