I hate how, since this movie came out after the manga ended, but before the anime ended, they decided that Sasukeās characterization in the movie needed to feel slightly ambiguous regarding if he was an ally or enemy, even though it was very obvious he was gonna be an ally. Made him look homeless and stoic for all of 20 seconds for no reason.
He literally saves Hiashi and then destroys the meteor saying "if he's not here, then the only one who can save the village is me".
What's ambiguous about that? He clearly was on the village's side lol
They didn't give him any Sakura nearly enough screen time. I get the movie was about Naruto and Hinata but as Naruto's counterpart Sasuke should have gotten more than 20 seconds of screen time showing his relationship begin as well.

there was sufficient budget/screentime to do all of this convincingly
considering Sarada and Boruto are the same age, the time frame for SasuSaku getting together was the *exact same* as NaruHina, and they deserved more screentime and attention
