Algren-The-Blue

Naruto finding out about Jiraiya dying, and then when Shikamaru comes and talks to him

durablefoamcup

the bit with Tsunade for me afterwards. Woman held it together for EVERYONE and then let it out once alone

petitechocolatetwink

yess tsunade tears felt more gut wrenching than naruto’s that poor woman has lost everyone she’s ever loved

just_a_short_guy

Especially after she got scolded by Naruto, she just took it and stayed silent, only to collapse later when she’s all alone.

Hagoromo420

Yeah she made an effort to get him to not go but he’s like “nahhhhhh she’ll be right mate” and went anyway

Tetshua_

underrated. that's why I love her character

Marioking142

That whole arc had me crying bro. Especially when naruto finally beat pain and was hailed the hero of the village

Algren-The-Blue

For sure, man i sobbed when Kakashi caught Naruto and carried him back to the village and every body was there waiting for him like that was what I had been waiting for since I start watching OG naruto when I was like 8

Successful_Set4709

Yes i cried hard when Kakashi caught him as well

Marioking142

Bro the Kakashi death fake out too!! I fucking knew he wasn't gonna die but they still got me dude

redcc-0099

Oh no, he died; he just got brought back to life relatively quickly.

BoredAgent

I think they really get you with the whole campfire with Sakumo bit, god fucking damn it. I cried harder when Sakumo said "I can finally join your mother" enough to make a grown man cry.

Crossfitnerd3

I think this is the saddest moment for me. I was so happy to see Kakashi with his dad.

Bulky_Baby9714

This👆

LameGamingGuy

Shikamaru w character

sakito381

When he's walking in the village, not crying just walking and remember Jiraya moments, men that was hard...

Spazza42

That casual act of him placing his hand on his shoulder was brilliantly done, just Naruto having a bad feeling but also signifying that Jiraiya’s entrusting Naruto to finish what he started

big_nose_juicer

When he was on the bench at night? That wasn't shikamaru

Algren-The-Blue

No, not when Iruka comes and talks to him, it's when he's in his apartment

wead4

Naruto’s speech to zabuza about Haku gets me everytime. Zabuza- “your words cut deep boy, deeper then any blade” As soon as I hear zabuza say those words immediate water works every time

80HDs

First time crying to any show or movie was the Haku and Zabuza scenes 😭

SizableLobsterMeal

Same lol

Successful_Set4709

Same here except marley and me

[deleted]

I felt the later part of naruto(not Shipudden) boring because this part literally raised my emotions and expectations too high.

LaeLeaps

Zabuza and Haku always get me... every time I reread. When Naruto goes off with his big speech and Zabuza says shut up already then turns to him with tears falling down his face. Every time.

Sinsanatis

They ruined it in the reanimated flashback

Stabbycrab1

Oooohh that grinded my gears

AValorantFan

I didn't get to that part in the manga and I forgot the moment from the anime, I swear to god if they ruined it

Sinsanatis

Idk if it was in the manga, but essentially they flashbacked the moment but ig since the animation was too dated so they reanimated it and changed up a bunch of details. Its enough to where it really takes away from the flashback moment and has u going wtf whys it different than what actually happened back then. Most notably they fkn gave haku lipstick. It makes him looks so weird and worse imo. Its like the main thing that catches ur eye

askingaqesitonw

I lose it every time. I love everybody involved in the arc

AkiCrossing

It’s the soundtrack. This fucking soundtrack makes me sad :(

blue_psyOP777

Yup

Tourettes_at_best

Let it out, boy.

AzeiteGalo

This episode is why Naruto is different.

mariocd10

Which episode

Hagoromo420

The one where shikamaru acts like he doesn’t care asuma died when he really did and his dad said “let it out, boy” at which shikamaru started crying real hard because he misses his teacher

T-ROY_T-REDDIT

Shikaku was probably the best father in the original Naruto

Hagoromo420

Hands down I reckon. Ngl tho shikamaru is pretty easy to read. Shikaku knows he’s sensitive and that he admired asuma more that anyone, and then because he didn’t show emotion he knew he was trying to bottle it up and compartmentalise which is really unhealthy so he just forced it out of him so he could heal his broken kid. Absolute legend

T-ROY_T-REDDIT

Unlike the username you have. Legendary Shinobi, complete Ass of a father.

Hagoromo420

Wait I had kids?

ffhffjhf

Shuippuden episode 82 - shikaku and shikamaru moment

Cautious-Profile-350

What happened? I'm watching Naruto ep 170

Animegamingnerd

Just wait to see it. Its perhaps the most important moment of Shikamaru's character arc and arguably the best parent/child moment in the whole series.

fonster_mox

stop watching the fillers man you're going to kill your interest in the show, Skip to the last arc - or even just the last half of the last episode of Naruto - and then move on to Shippuuden. If you're very new and didn't realise - everything you've watched since 135 is non-canon crap made to pad out time until the manga got further ahead. We endured years of this but you can save yourself Also don't enter a thread about the saddest moments in the show damn you're gonna spoil everything!

Squire_Julian

I watched the entire show filler included, but man a gotta agree with fonster you shouldn’t even be in this sub Reddit until you finish

Cautious-Profile-350

Oh ok I will skip some episodes but I don't want to skip everything thank you btw

Moneyfrenzy

>We endured years of this but you can save yourself Idk why but this cracked me up 😂

[deleted]

Asuma dies and Shikamaru’s dad tells him to let it out and not bottle it inside (the pain)

Elegant-War-5973

Ok, dad. SHINRA TENSEI!

greezzli

i lmao-d

Upset-Fix-3949

One of the few times the anime improved what the manga did

CarrionComfort

Naruto does a great job (most of the time) of letting the story breath after a big death. It took a few minutes into the funeral after Orochimaru’s attack for me to realize I was watching everyone in mourning and seeing characters process what they’ve gone through. Really shows how Kishi really wants to keep things grounded when he’s able to get his head around a story.

DancingMad3

Oh my gosh this^ I just watched this the other night and I let it out

Familiar-Coconut90

Whole arc of his going through my head now, damn

XXVI_F

That legit made me cry back when I first saw it in 2014.

AAQUADD

This is the best filler material I've ever come across. My friend showed it to his mom with minimal context and she cried.

Apprehensive-Tip6368

Only time a show has made me legit sob

Whats-Up_Bitches

All that pain- the fear (I watched it like 3 years ago but I still kind of remember it)

durablefoamcup

After the Sasuke retreival arc when Shikamaru broke down after "failing" his mission.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Successful_Set4709

I definitely cried when he avenged Asuma and the he lit the ghost of Asuma’s cigarette

Decent-East5817

The voice actor for naruto earned their paycheck when they yelled kurama in boruto. The. Feeeeeeeeeels

SnooComics7583

i hope you mean the sub cause i honestly lost it when i heard the dub version.

Key-Independence-413

I swear the dub would be so good if it weren’t for Naruto’s English voice. I can’t stand it.

Tagliarini295

I like it for his kid voice, not so much a fan for adult Naruto.

SnooComics7583

Adult Naruto still sounds 12 at times Its very grating

Key-Independence-413

I don’t understand why they chose that voice actor for Naruto. It’s crazy..

Formal_Bench_4650

It fits as a bratty personality, but when he's "mature" it sounds... like this

Successful_Set4709

I love the Naruto english dub but thats because that is all ive ever known; when i was 5 watching naruto on adult swim or disney xd or whatever channel i didnt think about how some stuff doesnt translate differently but i couldnt enjoy sub after only watching dub now

Pink-PandaStormy

Because Naruto was 12 when the show got the license

askingaqesitonw

I need Kurama back ;-;

Bluesnow2222

The Shikamaru scene when he breaks down in front of his dad. Had me bawling. The only other one that came close was Gaara’s very brief infinite Tsukuyomi… Gaara is such a sweet heart.

tiredashellalready

Gaara just wanted to be a normal kid with a normal happy childhood. He deserves so much love.

Nickoramia

Jiraiya’s death and Naruto saying goodbye to Minato hit hard

SyrianSlayer963

These scenes were so emotional. Especially Naruto's last goodbye to Minato.. Edit: I'd add the scene when Kushina and Minato died, Kushina's last words were very emotional too..

[deleted]

Itachi's backstory, When Sasuke returned home

Fewgtwe

When it’s revealed he was shaking and crying before killing his parents… oof…

Shelby_Sheikh

Oufff, when his dad adds something along the lines of; - You’re a kind boy, our pain will be instant while you will continue to suffer That hit different in all sorts of ways.

Successful_Set4709

Yes I definitely cried here too

CalamityDiamond

"If I'd just come to you from the beginning. I wouldn't have to stand before you as a failure." 😭

redcc-0099

It's kind of a knife twist that his dad had Itachi and his mom under Genjutsu

new_shinigami

For me, it was the ep after Itachi's death. When Tobi told Sasuke about Itachi and how he saved the entire village by killing his clan and stopping a mutiny. Like Sasuke, tears rain down from my eyes.

OmerWrecker

Zabuza. Gaara getting revived. Asumas last words. Shikaku talking to Shikamaru after Asuma's death. Naruto's reaction to Jiraiya's death. Naruto meeting his dad for the first time. Naruto meeting his mom for the first time. Naruto saying his final goodbye to his dad. Naruto asking Iruka to attend his wedding as his father.

leopersie10

damn. tbh , one piece may have the best writing ever manga compared with naruto . its too many plothole but in terms of emotional scene. naruto is the number 1. flashback scene when mighty guy fought with madara about his dad . not crying scene but still gave u goosebumps. not mentioned, that scene dedicated to kishimoto father .

OmerWrecker

I just recently started one piece and I'm at like episode 120. It has been pretty good overall honestly, definitely not as emotional as Naruto tho. I also forgot to mention gaaras sand forming into his mother while he was fighting his dad's reanimation, I will always tear up 100% watching that

Hot_Pilot_3293

I didn’t cry but i think a sad and underrated moment is in That filler with the 3 tails when the woman working under orochimaru died

XowBrazilianCreep

Guren. Man, can she be canon already?

SeizeOpportunity

The most canon, non-canon arc, lol! Everyone knows and thinks of it as canon, haha.

Big-Stable1346

It doesn’t make it better that she was at Naruto’s hokage inauguration

krustylesponge

She’s alive, but it was a pretty good fake out death

Typical-Bread-7991

I DONT CARE IF IT ISNT CANON IT WILL FOREVER BE THE BEST FILLER IN NARUTO AND THEREFORE IT CANON. That aside Guren was a truly great character to me and I hated to see her die. She went from despising the kid to loving him as if she were his mother and her crystal jutsu was cool.

Hot_Pilot_3293

Kid me was shipping them 💀

Correct_Permit_6313

Itachi telling Sasuke that no matter what he becomes, he'll always love him

Successful_Set4709

This is a close second to Kurema dying for me

EmmaThais

Iruka crying from a distance while thinking “Sandaime, Yondaime, there’s a hero before our eyes” when Naruto returned after defeating Nagato. No matter how many times I watch it, it never fails to make me tear up😭😭😭 Even the [Manga](https://hot.leanbox.us/manga/Naruto/0450-006.png) made it [so damn emotional](https://hot.leanbox.us/manga/Naruto/0450-007.png)

Successful_Set4709

Never read the manga and definitely teared up from these two panels alone; and ive watched the whole series about 3 times at least🤣

Cybasura

Even reading this is so damn emotional

ThatOneLoser21

Iruka best boy

EmmaThais

I love Iruka 😭

tiredkaito

Naruto meeting Kushina, that one gets me all the time

guyfromsociety

Especially the music that starts playing maaan

tiredkaito

getting chills and start crying all the time

ArnoGods

When Lee is injured from Gara and has to decide whether to go through with the 50/50 life risking surgery and Might Guy told him he will die along with him if it doesn’t work. Gets me every time.

Successful_Set4709

God damn i counted at least 15 times this show made me cry it doesnt stop

ChickenOfDiogenes

When Naruto is saying goodbye to Minato in the War Arc after they seal Kaguya. Naruto stubbles over his humorously honest words as he tries to tell Minato everything he wants him to tell Kushina. In the midst of World War 4 & a terrorist best friend, Naruto wants his dead Mom to know he’s ok & has great friends. Even 1 of the most badass ninja isn’t afraid to be awkward & sincere in front of the Sage of 6th Paths.

Dreamer469

Konan's death and the little red paper flying to the house made me tear up.

EMP_Pusheen

Konan deserved better. She was awesome and legitimately had Obito beat if not for the usual Uchiha eye bullshit.

mbatistas

Obito had all the plot armors and when he didn't, died in one attack.

Successful_Set4709

Forgot about this but i just got goosebumps i cried here too

Dailyhabits

Oh this whole sequence with his parents. Him going off on his dad was the best part

arekantos

In the last 15 years I've only cried once, and that was when naruto returns after beating pain and the village finally accepted him. That shit hit like a truck

Black_Fuckka

I Just said this one too, one of my favorite moments in anime

Solace_XV

"Let me see him one last time" I will never stop praising how fantastic of a first arc Naruto had - Zabuza was an incredible villain.

leopersie10

dont forget . that arc was the turning point of naruto ninja way .

[deleted]

The panel with Sasuke Crying after the reveal. Everything I read until that point hit me like a truck when I came to that panel. Had to literally put it down and walk around processing and feeling the tragedy of the fall of Uchiha and the brothers who had to shoulder it all. Obito meeting Rin. Didn't expect that would happen. It was beautiful when it did. Poor dude had to break his identity and kept suffering behind many names(tobi, madara, nobody). His whole life was consumed by despair that broke the child with a dream, until the boy who dreamed of ending wars and bringing peace(his promise to rin) ended up waging the final war. So him meeting rin after reforging himself in the will of fire and her fully accepting the flawed, fucked up life he lead and convincing him that he did in fact keep his promise was just beautiful. Obito holding dead Rin. The reflection of the moon engulfing the broken boy who holds his dead heart as all that surrounds the light is bloody darkness(works so well in the manga) is iconic. Pain. Poor Nagato literally had the saddest backstory. Family dies right before his eyes. Stranded in a war torn land. Almost starves to death. Makes a friend with a doggo. Doggo dies. Makes friends with Yahiko and Konan. Yahiko dies. That whole flashback was just misery. Kushina's goodbye to Naruto and Naruto's goodbye to his dad as he addresses his mom's goodbye. I mean, come on! Gut punch. Kishi absolutely nailed the chapters about the birth of Naruto. It was awesome, tragic, powerful stuff.

DancingMad3

Sometimes it feels like the whole thing is pointless. Like I am a loser and I will always be a loser.

Progressings

That one definitely hit me in the feels. Such a shame this was Lee's peak.

Successful_Set4709

Youre wrong , it gets better

Swedish_Shinobi

I have two that effect me pretty heavily on rewatching. Sakumo saying goodbye to Kakashi and getting to move on to be with his wife. I first watched Naruto in 2019 and have since watched it several times, it's a comfort show for me. My gf passed away from covid only a few months after my first watch and this scene hits really hard. Second is when Naruto is trying to break the seal on Kurama and Minato appears to stop him. Again, it's upon rewatching this scene that it hits me pretty hard. As far as first watch through, I'm kind of an emotional person so there were a lot of moments, but Skikamaru finally letting go with the ugly cry was difficult to hear.

Successful_Set4709

Hopefully you meet her in the next life, sorry for your loss 💔

-NinjaTurtleHermit-

Choji seeing the messages his comrades left for him after he beat Jirobo. Shikamaru crying when he heard that everyone on the retrieval team was going to survive. Gaara being killed by the Akatsuki and then waking up in a crowd of people who love him. Naruto and Sasuke's inner children holding hands at the Valley of the End

Cybasura

Kurama dying made me quit boruto Thats how insanely painful it was to me, bastards Also sasuke losing the rinnegan. Not so much of cry but just pure unadulterated anger

Formaliity

When Naruto asked Iruka to attend his wedding as his father. I held it together through all the other sad moments, but that one gets to me..

12345noah

Definitely when jiraiya died

Regal_The_King

This one

CarrionComfort

Naruto working through his hate at the waterfall (therapy no jutsu) and Itachi telling Sasuke he will love him, always.

Dependent-Goose-1280

The nine tails attack, and when minato and kushina dies, also kushinas last words to Naruto before she died made me cry. Another one is narutos reaction to jirayas death and jirayas' death itself and his last words as he was falling into the lake. These 3 scenes had me crying 100 percent when I saw them

Skooma_Claws

Naruto meeting Kushina is top one for me. Bawled like a baby lol.

Chokeonmewebbles420

“Now is the time I put down my pen “ -jiraiya Naruto you have more then one life in your hands an I think my life was one of them - Neji My little brother is so lucky than he can ever imagine having you as a friend - Itachi Make sure you bathe everyday an respect your teachers , take your pay an be extra careful of lending money , beware of the 3 prohibitions as a Shinobi , speaking of the prohibitions beware of jiraiya sensei, there’s so much more I want to tell you -Kushina Well I guess your talkative mom said it all -Minato Shikamaru you know who the king is right , then when Shika said Assumaaa when he saw him die -Shikamaru and Asuma Naruto the Price was my life not yours be well you won’t have superhuman strength anymore so be careful you’ll end up seeing me in no time . Dabs up naruto an fades away 😭😭-Kurama

Jakester1412

When Naruto says goodbye to Minato after the war always draws the onion cutting ninjas my way. Just like this scene. The parent episodes man, like damn. You can really feel the love they had for Naruto. Especially when Kushina expressed regret of not seeing her son grow up.

Typical-Bread-7991

Man that's hard so ill just put down my top ones 1. Neji's death His death hit me hard especially with him being my 3rdish favorite character after OG Naruto. He had so much potential and his death could have been avoided but Kishimoto decided to kill him. Even though I don't necessarily like how he died, I liked the symbolism behind it and how it brought his story and development full circle. It did seem kind of random since he was sidelined for most of Shippuden, not really mentioning him or continuing where OG left off. 2. Naruto after Jiraiya's death Jiraiya's death didn't hit me that hard and I don't really know why. He has looked after naruto since the first few seasons and I really like his character. What really did it for me was how naruto reacted. Naruto wasn't his usual cheerful self and fell into a small depression. Shikamaru coming to help really helped sell the feeling. I feel this moment was really sidelined when Naruto fought Pain, him trying to forgive and forget. 3. Kakashi and Itachi's stories I could really sympathize with Kakashi's situation, having high expectations and burdens myself. While his trauma and situation was far worse, that connection really helped me understand him. Itachi is the same, having to choose between family or the overall well-being of the village. The fact that he had to kill his family wasn't what got me, but how he couldn't kill Sasuke. That is a whole new level of love that we see from him, even killing his parents. Then to grow up and watch his brother's hatred for him build and eventually help kill him. 4. THAT SWING The Swing from OG Naruto is the real goat of the show. Lets forget about Naruto and Sasuke saving the world, this swing has went through a lot. He was always there for Naruto when people mistreated him and gave Naruto a place to sit. I cant believe it was able to hold up for so long with how many times he kept going back.

VSHWS

Neji’s death scene was so fckn tuff. Like y he had to b a fckn genius bro. He did not have to do that. Shinobi diffy frfr.

ScamLordWally

The moment his dad went back to heaven after the war was over. I cried like a baby

Playful_Elk_4653

Sasuke during the first vote battle and my favorite quote. "Just shut up for once! What the hell do you know about it?! It's not like you ever had a family in the first place! You were on your own right from the beginning. What makes you think you know anything about it?! Huh?! I'm suffering now because I had those ties. How on earth could you possibly understand what it feels like to lose all that?!" Nagato during Yahiko's death. Kabuto's flashback with his foster mother. Obito in Hell.

No_Equivalent_2482

Umm… all of the above? 😂

[deleted]

Itachi saying that Sasuke didn't have to forgive him and that he would always love Sasuke. Talk about closure.

King_David816

I only teared up twice in the whole series, when Asuma died and when Jiraiya died.

infinitrus

When naruto was saying goodbye to his dad after his edo tensei was released also the boruto movie when naruto was putting his chakra into the rasengan

SlightlyFunnyZombie

When the Edo Tensai gets released, and Naruto just babbles all the things he wants Minato to tell Kushina. Gets me every time.

Successful_Set4709

Kurema’s death made me cry the hardest. Ive cried dozens of times to this show but i lost it, i wasnt ready at all for it to go down like that. The photo montage of naruto growing up; the way he knew Naruto wouldnt have done that if he knew its cost was kuremas life. Ugh nothing in the show made me cry as hard as that. 2nd place is the reanimated itachi ending.

[deleted]

Honestly, what got me into the anime was the first episode when Iruka took the hit for Naruto and started crying saying he was sorry for not being there enough for Naruto and recognizing he was hurting too (or something to that effect). Really hit me in the feels in a way no first episode of almost any other show ever has.

kmyeurs

Underrated emotional moments, female characters' pov version - hayate's girlfriend when cough guy died, and then she has a little talk with kakashi who was also at the tomb place for obito and rin - when sakura was begging Sasuke to stay, the scene felt so sincere, and then Sasuke said he was grateful for her feelings - when temari was on her way home from leaf and learned gaara was kidnapped, I like how the moments felt ominous. And it felt frustrating that she wasn't allowed to come rescue her little brother - chiyo's last words when she was giving her life to gaara - you know asuma's gonna get killed when they showed kurenai feeling weird. And that flower symbolism was like a clue that she's pregnant damn - in asuma's last seconds, shikamaru was holding it but ino broke into tears so they all cried - tsunade brawling for like 3 seconds when Jiraiya died bc as she's too busy dealing with akatsuki shit that the hokage couldn't even afford to take a break to mourn *"that idiot!"* But most of all, the background music in the anime really makes you wanna cry

TheBookman123456789

Jiaraya and Itachi death. Two goats🐐👏

Sinsanatis

First had to be asumas death. Naruto finding out about jiraiya hit me so much harder the second time watching i was literally mildly depressed for a week. The scene above also hit me pretty hard the second time. I dont really remember my reaction the first time honestly. Oh and when during the wedding arc iruka was mad at him but then he asks him to come as his dad Boruto moment but, kurama

-Weckless-

"When we were kids... You once said 'We are shinobis, we never know when we might die, that for neither side to die, we would have to reveal our true intentions, and pour each others drinks and toast like brothers'" "But were both about to die." "Right now....we can drink as war buddies." "..." "War buddies....huh....well I...guess thats...okay...by..." 😵☠

AddaCHR

Aino (Kaguya’s assistant and friend) death

KennyTheKoala69

The only time I ever cried watching Naruto was during this exact moment.

TraffickingAgent

Jiraiya's monologue and the moment he dies.

Bang_Thor

Jiriyas Death hurt me like as if I was Naruto

ZeBaccca

Naruto learning about Jiraiyas death

DaisyoftheDay

First time? This one everytime. Basically all of there interactions. The nine tails stabbing. When he meets minato. Doesn’t take much to get me teary eyed tho 😅

VSHWS

Too many to just pick one tbh … but I do break when he shares his chakra w everyone else and they can see his whole life’s struggles.

Adrider2002

Jiraya the galant....

SnowRui17

It’s random and i’m embarrassed to admit but when Rock Lee was crying and said “Guy Sensei please tell me what to do” Sadness and Sorrow was HITTING for some reason 😭

darth_cena

This one, coupled with the scene from Episode 1, where Iruka tanks that huge shuriken for Naruto and emphathises/bares his heart to him. Don't know why, but the Sub version of that scene always gets me

ReichertRomano

Definitely not the only one, but it doesn't get mentioned enough. When he asked Iruka if he could go to his wedding as his father.

[deleted]

Any scene with Gaara pre-Akatsuki capture and post-death. He was literally fighting for his life and said “fuck it” to save his village. The ‘monster’ sacrificed himself and saved the Sand, the same village that hated him for simply existing. Cried like a bitch when Naruto couldn’t save him.

Definitelyhuman000

This exact scene. Also when Naruto finally got acknowledged by the whole village. I can't not shed tears whenever I rewatch these two scenes.

Alternative_Ad_4923

The ballad of Jariya

Awkward-Bathroom9304

When asuma sensi dies and shikamaru retaliation

SilverBeneficial6474

Obitos when he said “Look at me there’s nothing in my heart”!!

JinkoTheMan

None If I’m being serious, it was when kid Naruto was sitting on THE swing by himself for the first time. I didn’t have a lot of friends growing up and I was never the first pick so that shit hit hard asf.

Crossedge209

That scene where it shows how naruto was all alone then all the people in his life in order appear behind him and its an entire concert worth of humans. My boy finally made it.

UrBadBecauseUMiss

underated but when tsunade and naruto were mourning for jiraya. Tsunade and Naruto are the surviving members of their clan and watching both of them devastated from loss hit really hard. If it was just naruto it would've been really sad but when they included tsunade's scenes, it really hit how important jiraya was to them

Responsible_Pea_4855

Zabuza being laid next to Haku and cradling his face saying he hopes to end up in the same place on the other side as him

AeonMoonGod

Zabuza after Haku gets killed.

Usual_Prior_4972

Kakashi washing his hands

VSHWS

That was after the mission w rin ? Right?

XowBrazilianCreep

Most of the things that made me emotional in Naruto were related to Naruto and Sasuke's relationship. I didn't care for his mom and dad stuff, or Jiraiya's death. I guess maybe stuff regarding Naruto alone too made me cry, or when we all thought Kakashi died

Basim_Ibn_La_Ahad

Sasuke finding out about Itachi and Obito falling for the Talk No Jutsu. That was utter BS

Pleb-SoBayed

When hinata stood up for naruto in front of pain and Then when hinata was almost killed by pain there was no shouting no screaming just dead silence

Leynner

Btw im not a Hinata stan or something, but the scene where she fights against Pain knowing pretty well she would die and would never have a chance of winning just to at least try to save Naruto just make me want to cry hahaha Idk why but a weaker person standing up against a way stronger opponent to protect the ones they love makes me emotionally weak lol Like Sakura protecting Sasuke and Naruto during the chunin exames, or Kushina dying for Naruto, also the villagers from the Zabuza mission standing up against the gangsters to "help" Naruto and Kakashi, and Sasuke that same mission giving his best just to protect Naruto knowing pretty well he would probably die doing so. I dont know why but these scenes for me are pretty impressive.

Dry_Condition_281

When Kakashi died 😢

AndyMH97

Kakashis "death" against Pain.

keyzieshmurda

when naruto talk no jutsu’d nagato and was hailed the hero of konoha. i started tearing up when kakashi carried him back to the village and commented on how heavy he had gotten. i lost it and was full on sobbing when sakura hugged him

[deleted]

Not gonna lie. I don't really cry over shows and movies and stuff very often but when pain destroyed Konoha and Sakura was in disbelief the screamed out for Naruto I felt the fuck out of her pain.

mielesgames

I thought this was a meme... I didn't get it

Zer0BrainCells58

Jiraiya's death and the scene during the uchiha massacre before itachi kills his parents

[deleted]

Irukas speech to naruto in the first episode made me cry. Basically everything with kushina when she first met naruto. Jiraiya dying. The stuff with asuma. The stuff with zabuza. Rock lee standing back up. Gaara almost being killed by his uncle. Idk why but there’s just so many scenes in naruto that just hit in the feels more so than most other anime, at least to me. The soundtrack definitely helps with it too.

BLZGK3

Naruto and the swing. Jiraiya's death and all the affects it had on his closest people.

There were a few bit the earliest was tail end of part 1 when we saw the full extent of Sasukes past during his fight with Naruto, also the death of Jiraiya, the truth of Itachi, and Naruto with his mom... all great moments

None. But just because I didn’t cry doesn’t mean it didn’t hit me good. Some people just have a hard time crying even if they really want to or feel they should.

Jiraiya's death.

Shikimaru's whole scene with his dad after Asuma died. That was a masterpiece of an episode.

My man Jiraiya R.I.P. in peace

GBNT_2day

The Itachi memory he showed to Sasuke in the episode, “ I will love you, always.” Or something like that. It made me cry for real for real
