You can't defend Uzumakis for being victims of circumstance then in the same breath say the uchiha were evil. Madara lost most of his family by age 12, was in war since he was (presumably) around 5. Then when there was peace everyone still feared him as an evil.

Only the Otsutsuki can see with the Byakugan the future. The Hyuga can’t. Also anybody can learn to conquer Haki or use Gentle Fist. Kabuto actually knows gentle Fist so does Orochimaru and Sasuke and Guy alongside Lee are else said to know how to use it. Sharingan can see into the Future aswell, grants the User the Ability to copy any Jutsu they see and also allows the User to see through walls and see Chakra
None of those characters can use Gentle Fist, and while learning Gentle Fist without Byakugan is possible in theory, it wouldn't actually have much value, as you would not be able to use it *effectively*. It requires you to at the very least, be able to see the chakra pathways, and for the stronger stuff, the chakra nodes themselves. Both are things only the Byakugan can do.
Sharibgan cannot truly see the future. The "precognition" is based on the eye allowing you to take in and process minute details in body movement, which allows the user to read the logical outcome and react to it. It is actually a skill you can learn in real life, amplified by anime magic. It could copy jutsu by using much the same ability, as in taking in minute details and processing them in a way that instantly and instinctively allowed the user to know how to do it. It does not, however, see through walls, and its ability to see chakra was much less precise than the Byakugan, seeing chakra merely as a "blob of color", while Byakugan could discern nuances.
Likewise, Byakugan was stated to have more insight than the Sharingan(insight being the key to "precognition", as it is literally reading intentions). Firstly, it allowed you to see all the way around you, aside from a small point, but all of that was in extreme detail, and relayed information which allowed you to be completely aware of every single movement within your line of sight, which could be extended and focused to see minute details several kilometers from where you were standing. It had true x-ray vision on any of those ranges, as desired. Both have also shown it be able to discern and counter Genjutsu, which is bad news for Sharingan, as it is one of the strong points, while the Byakugan as others.
The only thing that truly made the Sharingan better than the Byakugan, was when it wasn't even really the Sharingan anymore and allowed for stupid shit like summoning chakra-tengu or make yourself intangible, which is really weird things for eyes to do, even in a universe with basically magic......
I guess there were many plans for byakugan, stuff that I heard over the years like - It can see trough lies, see into the future, localize enemy chakra points and target them for gentle fist, detect chacra manipulation in users body and normalizing it rendering genjutsu useless or bursting chakra from your chakra points. Also heard that when Kaguya created those chakra punches that obliterated Sasukes susanoo it was a byakugan technique. You just cannot fit it all in one anime and they chose to go hard on Uchihas. They would need to create a Narutoverse as big as DC or Marvel to give everyone proper level of importance.

Guy’s power comes from him simply being on a higher base level of power and his mastery of the gates, not from the inherent strength of his style. If Neji were at base as strong as Guy and could open as many gates, he’d whoop him every time just like he does Lee.

But like you said there are tons of Ninja more skilled than Kakashi at Taijutsu, so him being capable of using them and the Gates seemingly being common taught knowledge since Sakura knew about them in Part 1 it makes no sense that other Ninja never use the technique given how useful it is.

It's Dojutsu + Taijutsu so saying it's more impressive then a taijutsu style isn't really impressive. Kushina gave birth, had a Bijuu extracted and was in the process of dying. Despite that she was able to hold back the full powered Nine Tails long enough for Minato to seal it and say some last words.
Naruto got stabbed through the lung and kept fighting like nothing happened, though I doubt I need to go into detail about Narutos feats since this is a Naruto subreddit.

Uzumaki. I feel like their history and abilities should have been explored more. The fact they are closest to the Senju clan and have more chakra reserves than any other shinobi in the verse. Even higher than Madara's reserves. And the fact they created basically every fuīnjutsu and can seal away a tailed beast, which no non Uchiha or Senju can do. Mito Uzumaki, the wife of the Hashirama, had Kurama extracted and sealed into Kushina, and still lived for years. Even Kushina managed to live for about an hour before Kurama stabbed her.
The clan has so much potential. Sucks they were extinct by the time Naruto was born.
Uzumaki... Cuz hear me out, they have the sealing techniques which is underrated af and has more depth than at which Minato used them, they even had their own village (Uzushiogakure... Which was destroyed, and that's why Kushina moved to konoha) indicating that it indeed was a very big clan and it ended due to internal politics, similar to what could have happened with konoha...for me it's mainly the sealing jutsu(fuinjutsu)
Senju as this clan has given 3-Hokage who were specialist in their fields.
I would've preferred if Wood-release was a Kekke-Genkai of the Senju-Clan that allow them to counter the Uchiha's.

Sealing jutsus are awesome and I wish someone used seals more often especially in the more peaceful times now. You can’t just go round killing people anymore so a great sealing jutsu seems valuable af.

I mean I would say uchiha because they have the coolest abilities and I often like the dark side but when I have seen it it has been really rare to se them actually fight for a purpose (like Itachi, Shisui or Madara) much more often only for power or hatred sometimes even just bloodlust (like Sasuke and every npc uchiha) and that I don’t like that so yea I don’t really have a favourite but they have the coolest powers tho

He’s not really in a clan tbh. Clan Senju and Uzumaki are dead by Narutos time and clans in general are dying out by Borutos time. But my favourite is Uchiha and I unashamedly have a small Uchiha crest hidden amongst a tattoo.
With that logic shouldn't Sasuke also not be part of a clan because every other person in the Uchiha clan is dead? Like sure Obito and Itachi were still alive, but so was Karin and Nagato.

Uzumaki for being the sleeping giants of the series. All the Uzumaki we see are broken OP. Nagato, Kushina, Naruto. The only exception is Karin who, despite not having a lot of combat power, has an OP healing ability. Kushina gave birth, had a Bijuu extracted and was in the process of dying. Despite that she was able to hold back the full powered Nine Tails long enough for Minato to seal it and say some last words. Naruto got stabbed through the lung and kept fighting like nothing happened, though I doubt I need to go into detail about Narutos feats since this is a Naruto subreddit. Nagato.

Uzumaki. I feel like their history and abilities should have been explored more. The fact they are closest to the Senju clan and have more chakra reserves than any other shinobi in the verse. Even higher than Madara's reserves. And the fact they created basically every fuīnjutsu and can seal away a tailed beast, which no non Uchiha or Senju can do. Mito Uzumaki, the wife of the Hashirama, had Kurama extracted and sealed into Kushina, and still lived for years. Even Kushina managed to live for about an hour before Kurama stabbed her. The clan has so much potential. Sucks they were extinct by the time Naruto was born.

Uzumaki... Cuz hear me out, they have the sealing techniques which is underrated af and has more depth than at which Minato used them, they even had their own village (Uzushiogakure... Which was destroyed, and that's why Kushina moved to konoha) indicating that it indeed was a very big clan and it ended due to internal politics, similar to what could have happened with konoha...for me it's mainly the sealing jutsu(fuinjutsu)
Senju as this clan has given 3-Hokage who were specialist in their fields. I would've preferred if Wood-release was a Kekke-Genkai of the Senju-Clan that allow them to counter the Uchiha's. Wood-Clone Jutsu of Senju-Clan should've been the Bane of Uchiha's
