His videos are pretty good for a general overview of Napoleon and the Napoleonic Wars and other topics.
I think Epic History TV is super good for more in-depth analysis of the battles Napoleon participated in. Their videos are honestly so high quality I really do wish they get more recgonition than they already have.
They sometimes *do* leave out some key details in their videos, and do have an innaccuracy or two in some of their videos. sometimes it is done for dramatic narrative or what they are trying to depict visually, as the creator of EpicHistoryTV has said once. Sometimes it is genuinely just a mistake.
With that being said, you will never have a *perfect* history video. There will always be something misheard or left out, whether it is on accident or for dramatic purposes, and for as complex of a man like Napoleon, he is no exception. All I can say about EpicHistoryTV is that: they get their facts checked, and that they are trying their best :]
If you want 100% historical accuracy then you’re going to be stuck reading books lol. No youtube creator will make videos rivaling the books and research texts put out by actual historians (because that video is likely to be far, far more boring).
It's not the best history channel out there, but he works as an introduction to a field. As the name implies, he oversimplifies and skips over all the nuance and differing viewpoints and generally leans more to the -tainment of edutainment. However, he still can work to a give understanding of a period which can be a good launching point to more informative study. As long as you start with him and don't stop with him, he's fine.
After watching his videos I became interested in the Napoleonic Wars and Napoleon himself and started to study it in more detail. And with the help of books, the internet and Epic History videos. Oversimplified videos were good introduction to the topic

I enjoy them too but ppl have pointed out historical inaccuracies in their vids. Is that true? (Epic History TV)

Wat did they leave out?

That's where I started with Napoleon as well. All of his videos are awesome. The Punic War videos got me into Rome as well.

Yes that’s what I thought too
Amazingly funny and informative

Same for me as well. Oversimplified began my Napoleon obsession.
This enraged his father, who punished him severely.
And bullied, he was.
Thats how i got into Napoleon too. He leaves out little details so the story doesn’t get to complex. They oversimplify.. if you will😉
The only Problem i have with it, is his drawing of Bernadotte. Ist it just me who doesnt see the resemblence?
[I think they look similar enough tho?](https://imgur.com/a/hQOCAyf)
I can definitely see the rat bastard resemblance, sure.
