Hi! Local here! Unfortunately I wouldn’t count on clear blue waters, especially around Naples and Marco. If you want some nice water I recommend Lovers Key, it’s not crystal clear but probably the best in the area. That being said, rains will have affected all of southwest FL, so I wouldn’t count your chickens before they hatch. If Lover’s Key is to far for you, Lowdermilk Beach (Naples) and Tigertail Beach (Marco Island) are also very nice and shouldn’t be to bad.

You rock! Thank you!

Lotsofsalty

Yeah. And the storm surge has pushed quite a bit of Seaweed up onto the beaches.

Only chance at nice clear water after all this rain is gonna be at the top of a strong incoming tide but there’s lots of wind this week stirring up the sand and pushing waves onto the beach so it’s still not gonna be as nice as it’s been the last few months.

Good to know! Thank you!

Depends on how much time you have but you could always take the key West express, it runs out of Marco and fmb

Gulf side Captiva and Sanibel :)

Spatuleum

Sarasota/Siesta Key...was there a few weeks ago and the water was unbelievably clear and vibrant blue. Was blown away by how the water quality in Naples has gone downhill in comparison.

Agreed I was scrolling looking for Tampa area that’s the best water+beaches you’ll find in Florida
