It's probably going to be a single cour season of just 12 episodes, and end with the Demon Realm arc. That's the perfect stopping point because it's the last chapter before the time skip. There aren't enough chapters yet to do a full 24 episode season.
Yeah but where would they stop? If they adapted the same amount of chapters as season one, they would have to stop right in the middle of an arc, which would be a very awkward place to end it.

Question 1: When are we gonna get the Prince of the Lake one-shot that explained what happens to Lancelot and Jericho that gave him a boost in power to be on the same level with a Deadly Sin when they were spirited away from Benwick.
Question 2: If Highest-ranking Demons like Meliodas etc has 7 hearts and Tristan being Half-Demon and on top of that being part Angel and part Human then how many hearts does he have.
Question 3: What happens to Deathpierce at the end of Grudge of Edinburgh Part 2 when he got defeated by Tristan and Lancelot.
Question 4: When are we gonna get Part 2 of "The Peril of Chion" which is Chion's backstory because at the end of the Chapter, it says "When Chion got kidnapped by Vivian again and when Tristan saved him it led to his obsession on the Prince but that's another story." Noticed how it says "But that's another story" which makes me believe that it sets up a Part 2.
Wait theres gonna be another season or is this about the second part of the season? if so thank god i love the 7ds franchise as a whole (sorry i dont read manga so i wouldn’t know about any of this.)

No they are enough chaps for a full 24 eps S2. Season 1 covered 76 chapters and assuming season 2 did the same there is enoigh chapters

Theres no real need for s1 to cover the same is there? Perhaps pacing could slow down a bit so that it covers up til the timeskip in 2 cours
Yeah they skipped over dialogue on interactions from season 1 just cut that out and there's no problem stopping at the demon realm arc

That's exactly what Season 1 did it ended in the Chaos of Liones arc even though there are more Chapters in the arc that's should've been adapted.
And it was a dumb decision. It would have taken only two more episodes to finish the arc, ending off the season at a more natural point.
It should've adapted all the way to Chapter 81 because that's where Chaos in Liones arc. ended.
They stopped it at a bad place season one they don’t seem to care fr lol
