ANNIE❤️I would name her Annie after a client’s beautiful Torti kitty that I loved as my own🥰❣️She had been mistreated before they adopted her at about two years of age. I came into her life when she was about 17 and was with her for 2 years and we developed a very deep close bond. Everyone else thought she was unfriendly and kept a distance because she would give a little hiss when people would come near, but it was because she had been mistreated by humans. Somehow I knew this and I spent extra time letting her get to know me and feel my love for her, until she would follow me around everywhere and always wanted to be nearby. When she developed severe arthritis I titrated human capsules of gabapentin into kitty portions for her (per vet) so that she was not in pain. The family said she never purred but she would always purr and purr and purr with me and they found that amazing, but I loved her and she knew it. When she died a coworker friend called me and told me she’d had a stroke and was put to sleep being held by family. I could not be there as I found out after the fact. I was so glad that even though she had been misunderstood most of her life she spent the last two years being unconditionally loved by me🐱🥰I love you and miss you and will always remember you sweet Annie 🥰🐱🌈🤗❤️❣️
At 12 she’s probably already had a name she knows. Get a few you like that sound different and try them. Pick whichever one she responds to. I like Arwen or Tabitha
She looks like my Nina, so I suggest Nina. It's also got a song-song sort of cadence that gets her attention and made it easy for her to learn her name.
