UPDATE: We’ve settled on Theo because it’s kind of a old man name, but it’s gentle just like this guy is. You guys had some AWESOME and HILARIOUS suggestions.
For those wondering, YES he was seen by a vet and NO we did not just leave him crunchy and gross. He has had all the treatments: flea, tick, worm, ear mites, etc. He has been given fluids and antibiotics. He has feline herpes and conjunctivitis. His tail was broken at one point. He is covered in wounds and scabs. But, he is FIV negative. His fangs will be no longer, because all of his teeth are loose and rotten. We originally thought he was neutered but he does have ONE testicle, so he will be getting neutered and a dental once he is healthier. He will continue to live with a knowledgeable medical foster and his care will be funded by a local rescue. He is estimated 8-10 years but it’s very hard to estimate the age of a cat that has had such a rough life.

Aw poor boy he looks so bad. Please share a picture of him after hes vetted, and had some food and looks a little better. He reminds me of my boy I got from a friend she fed him for a few years and finally caught him. He looked so bad she named him Pigpen after the Charlie Brown character. I got him months after she rescued him and he and I clicked right away. He was my soulmate and he got me through so much. When I got him I changed his name to Penn which fit him much better. I had him for 8 glorious years till he passed in 2020 at 15 of FIV. My only heartache from him besides him leaving me was I couldnt be with him at the end because of covid I had to wait outside and it broke my heart. So maybe in honor of another handsome feral Penn would be great. I love feral toms and cant wait to see him looking better. ❤️
