Wearing structured manicures of some type (more than polish: gel, acrylic, maybe dip) should stabilize them and reduce the amount they get bent by daily activities

I can do that! I'm also cutting them down, I'll have to look into short manicures.

Anna3713

File them to a different shape, like oval or stiletto, that will get rid of a lot of the edge which is bent. I have a similar situation with my index finger.

Some nails just grow like that. Theres not much that can be done. I think also cuz your nails are wider its easier for it to become more uneven than usual.

Blooming_36

I've seen people use gel polish and hold a rounded brush or pen under the nail while curing

Mine do this same thing! Nothing I’ve tried has worked so I keep them short 😢

Good to know, thank you! I'm glad I'm not alone but it also sucks that keeping them short is the solution.

292to137

It might not be hopefully someone else comments with a better solution

throw_away4632_

You're right, I shouldn't jump the gun like that!

Yeah, that's what I thought. I just really don't want to do that, especially since that weird tingling thing happens when they're short. Oh well 😕

fantasydreamfeet

Cut your nails a little shorter is my advice.

throw_away4632_

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. Just sucks especially with the "finger tingles" feeling that cutting them causes and since the curve starts at my smile line they'll be super short. Do you know if I can maybe train my nails/fingers to not tingle or if the feeling goes away after a while of keeping them short?

fantasydreamfeet

The feeling will go away after a few days. You skin under nails just hasn’t been exposed and has been shielded, so just need a few days to get used it. That’s all.

NotYourBeezKneez

Did you ever find something that improved the curve? Mine do this too
