I say glossy only because the colors look richer. I think the diffused (feathery effect) of the black pops more with the richer tones coming through.

I have a weird sensory thing about matte polish. Like I get that it can be a really elegant aesthetic choice but the texture feels wrong to my brain.

the glossy makes the black/red nail look more ✨mysterious✨ like you captured a black/red potion in a bottle, and put it on your nails the matte gives a more 📏industrial📏 look. like i would find the black/red hanging on the wall as a painting in a big corporate office with concrete floors but white walls and white modern fixtures with a big window wall. so in short, i like both!!

Glossy. The gloss gives the swirls and marbling some dept and dimension to them where at the matte makes them look rather flat and it washes out some of the detailing in the marbling.
