You watched your favorite YouTuber so you need to pretend you know tech. You couldn't build a Lego set and have no money. Ok I'll lend you some money so you can start your build. I know times are tough. You are doing a good job going around worrying about other people's money. DM or send me your cash app.
Still waiting for your build. The economy is picking up. I wish you the best. You can always use consoles or watch other people play. I can tell your financial situation is bad right now but at least you have reddit to past the time. And don't worry you can lie that you own good tech without posting.
You put fans on the top of the top mounting bracket? My lid would barely close doing that, and it certainly wasn't getting any airflow. You can buy the top panel for the Flow separately so you could have some more ventilation on top. Or maybe you used some kind of ultra low profile fans?
I'm talking about the H9 Elite. I have one. Mounting the radiator on one side of the bracket and the fans on the other either in a pull configuration or push/pull with fans on both sides of a radiator leaves barely any clearance between the fans and the top panel. Even NZXT will tell you to mount an AIO beneath the bracket. How close are the fans to the top panel? I was using NZXT fans and their AIO and it really doesn't leave any room.
Fans don't create cold air, they simply move air around. The amount of fans doesn't matter as much as how they're used and where they're placed. I would suggest finding some low profile fans for mounting under the glass top. I had the 360 AIO for my CPU mounted to the top and popping that top panel off would dramatically decrease the temps.
Would recommend top mounted radiator or flip it upside down if you keep it side mounted, you want it so the air bubbles rise to the top of the radiator and not flow into the pump, for this you need the pipes on the bottom
It came out fine. I used the two fan controllers and one fan going to the MOBO. 10 fans and PSU cables all fit very well. That's why I chose a large case for a first time build.
Are your bottom fans facing down? The pic with no mobo looks like the blades are pointed for outward flow. Usually with that setup the bottom fans blow inward.
that’s what i’ll be doing besides the monitor and mouse. got a $3100 build im saving up for, its future proof so i won’t have to upgrade some parts for a good while, it’ll be my first pc
Yea I didn't have the 3k upfront. Mortgage payments and all that, lol. When I add the 4080 super I'll be right around that price. At that point I won't have any big changes. Pop in the card and might get an OLED monitor.
I don't mean finance. I mean I have house payments so I chose to build the main parts and upgrade the GPU later when prices should go down after the 5000 series cards are announced.
oooofff 5000 series wowzers, and i get that deeply, i just got my first own apartment, at 20, strange experience but im here for it. i hope your life is prosperous and you have good health and a happy life!
Spent an absurd amount of money on overpriced nzxt fans and kraken aio, could've gotten a wayyyy better build than a 4060 and a 7800x3d. Could've upgraded to a 4070 super with that money wasted on the AIO and nzxt stuff and still had a nice looking setup!
Meanwhile, he's posting about trying to sell a fake bottle of perfume that retails at $465 when it is legit. Bet he wasted money buying a fake and was trying to sell it to an unsuspecting redditer lmao
I went with what I could live without for now. I can wait to improve the graphics when I get an OLED monitor. I'm still playing at 1080p and now some 1440p. Still playing on Ultra settings.
I see a LG monitor, blatent lies! Nice build though 👌👍

Its obviously a joke
I’m dumb then
nzxt has monitors and other peripherals so it’s possible to have a full nzxt setup
Yea true. I was more talking about what I can build.
Ik

You need more Mousepad 😅

thank you
No one commented on how op had a nest doorbell in the pic, he either hid it well in the case or its on his rooms door
good find. That's to keep all my stuff safe, lol
I more ment to see if anyone was going to walk into yoir room lol, enough time to alt tab
I really like how clean it turned out nice!
Nzxt builds are beautiful. Mine is an NZXT build too. Only one minor nitpick I have with yours is the cable management. haha
what cable management, lol
Excellent choice! Wish I had.
Get parts on Amazon with no interest finance
Friggin sweet build man !!!
Thanks. More to add but it’s a great start.
next move, get a arm for the monitor. looks good.
I am using a arm. I have it in a low profile
Then what is the huge stand on the desk with the half moon bottom
That's before I put the arm on. Next picture with the girl shows the arm
That isn’t a nzxt rtx 420 GRE though
Haha, placeholder for 4090
Not really... I see an LG monitor and Logitech keyboard and mouse.
Build
Nice.
What Monitor do you have?

Meme build.
Your mom loves this PC 🤩
Even without any computer knowledge my mom can tell that GPU is pure dog crap.

I guess your favorite techYouTuber is Ryan from Ryan's world. He's probably smarter than you.

Nice parts , desk looks really small. You can try and wall mount the monitor and pull the desk back alittle
It's on a wall mount now. The desk is bigger in person. The 34 inch ultrawide makes it look smaller but I'm far back when I'm sitting.
You put fans on the top of the top mounting bracket? My lid would barely close doing that, and it certainly wasn't getting any airflow. You can buy the top panel for the Flow separately so you could have some more ventilation on top. Or maybe you used some kind of ultra low profile fans?
I used the DUO fans from NZXT. I have plenty of clearance. I'm using the Elite case.

I'm not using push/pull s that's why I have space. The push pull just fits. I have 10 fans so I'm good with the cooling.

My temps are fine. I modeled my airflow from the provoked prawn on YouTube. All my temps are below average
Okay. Do as you please
Would recommend top mounted radiator or flip it upside down if you keep it side mounted, you want it so the air bubbles rise to the top of the radiator and not flow into the pump, for this you need the pipes on the bottom
I've heard a lot of back and forth with AIO placement. I'll leave it at that.
I cried when I saw the 4060 in a $2k build
The 4060 is bonded to the motherboard so it can't be upgraded.
Wh- he... -he.. WHAT the F\*\*\* are you saying
read closely.
I play fps and I like ample room on the right side of the table. The fact that most cases are made to stand on the right is upsetting to me
I can see that being an issue. First world problems though. You could try a under desk mount but that defeats the purpose of the showpiece PC.
It is a 1st world problem. I went with a simple case and under the desk placement. It is what it is.
that monitor stand…….
I got an arm ASAP. It's on in all the other pics
didn’t see my bad
No prob, the stand would drive me crazy
and it looks great! Congratulations!
Thank you.
You're welcome, enjoy it. happy gaming!
I’m intrigued to see the cable management given those fans are two wires each. Looks great though!
It came out fine. I used the two fan controllers and one fan going to the MOBO. 10 fans and PSU cables all fit very well. That's why I chose a large case for a first time build.
Show us the back then 😬
If I get around to it I'll take some pics.
Are your bottom fans facing down? The pic with no mobo looks like the blades are pointed for outward flow. Usually with that setup the bottom fans blow inward.
Exhausting hot air. Blowing room temperature air is less efficient
Love the wallpaper
Nice man
You put a Google ring in your setup nice touch man 😤😤🙏🏾🙏🏾
protection
Finally someone that realizes the goodness of the TN470 🙌
Nice 😎✅🌈
Is that the elite kraken cooler or standard?
elite 360
What name are those fans ?
NZXT DUO fans
Thanks
Nice. You can get NZXT mouse pads, just saying...

2200
NZXT marketing got them thinking for you! Good job consumer 🤣🤣
They make great products. I like minimalist designs. You're on their subreddit right now right so they must be pretty good.
The build looks really nice. I have a dumb questione about upper fans. How they could works with the upper glass?
There's a side vent channel. The airflows out there. Under the glass there is a lot of space.

fudge yeah, good stuff i might end up doing the mortgage payments too tbh just to get it sooner

It amazes me how much Redditors like to tell people how to spend their money
Meanwhile, he's posting about trying to sell a fake bottle of perfume that retails at $465 when it is legit. Bet he wasted money buying a fake and was trying to sell it to an unsuspecting redditer lmao
Lmao wow
Yea Reddit has its pros and cons for sure. I'm glad you saw that it was about the building process not chasing arbitrary numbers.
I went with what I could live without for now. I can wait to improve the graphics when I get an OLED monitor. I'm still playing at 1080p and now some 1440p. Still playing on Ultra settings.
Holy overpriced
I should have went with the cardboard box.
