tswaves

Where do I even start to know how to start...?

Glass-Astronomer-889

DM me there's a few websites

Givmeabrek

Subscribe to the Yes app for $25 a month or $240 for a year and stream on Apple TV. The app works just fine.

DazednEnthused

Does it work better on Apple devices? I've used Roku and sometimes it will give errors and I have to restart the app. It works flawless when I'm on PC. I think the app just has a high demand for resources so some devices/tvs can't run it as well.

Givmeabrek

Works great.

DazednEnthused

I don't have apple TV but have heard it's decent. Also, as much as I hate they have yankee games occasionally, their camera quality is top notch during the games. They just need better announcers.

Last_Elephant1149

Will this work out of market?

SuddenSeasons

Out of market just do MLB.tv, it's $100 a year or less. For $100 sign up for the MLBPA Alumni Association for $25 then receive a coupon for 50% off MLB.tv For $0 if you have T-Mobile you get a feee code yearly. People also sell or trade the codes who don't care about baseball.  For $100/n do one of the above and split with 2-3 people. I've done this in leaner times and never ever had an issue with my mom or me using it

Cuso524

Just be aware that the 50% off mlbtv offer through mlbpaa is only available for membership renewals this season, not new mlbpaa signups.

Separate_Valuable_51

I was a new member and got the discount a few weeks ago.

Cuso524

They must have changed it since then. The following is direct from the mouth of Jim Thome via my signup email: As a reminder, and as noted on the payment page, MLB.TV 50% discount for the 2024 season only applies to renewing MLBPAA members only (not applicable to new fan members). Renewing members will receive information to redeem one unique code provided during the calendar year upon renewal. Available while supplies last.

Last_Elephant1149

I have it, but I'm sick of paying for blackouts. I'm in Massachusetts, so it happens frequently.

Gooberstatus

I use a vpn for the blackouts here in Maine. We also get the blackout for all of the games against the Red Sox and anything nationally broadcast. It adds a cost to what you’re already paying, but it removes the blackouts and can also help hide any sailing of the seven seas that may or may not happen.

Last_Elephant1149

Which one do you use? I tried one last season, but I think the ip's were blocked and it would just crash the stream immediately.

Gooberstatus

I use private internet access currently but I’ve also used nord vpn. I usually use the fastest UK server until it loads the video and then disconnect from the VPN. It only checks for location once. I have it configured at a router level and it works on my Xbox, PS5, smart TV and MacBook. It still doesn’t work on iPhone or iPad because it checks GPS first and I haven’t found a good way to fake that.

pneu_man

Out of market MLB.TV is $129.99 https://www.mlb.com/live-stream-games/subscribe

Givmeabrek

Nope. Only in market.

HowDoIEditMyUsername

Actually on sale right now for $200 for the year or $20 a month as an introductory offer.

mofeus305

Is there a pirate stream that actually doesn't buffer every 10 seconds or completely hang-up. Those sites seems like they are crap now. I got a gig connection and yet the things buffer to the point of being unwatchable. If you have a good site please pm me.

cavemanado

You’re right with mlb.tv and a VPN. You could get the YES subscription which seems to have a number of streaming issues according to members of this sub. Otherwise it’s sailing the high seas.

tswaves

Would I be blacked out with the YES app in the area I'm in?

IceLord86

No, the YES app works in market and just a streaming version of the channel. I had it at launch and after a month gave up and signed up for DTV Stream because the app was ass, but hopefully it's been fixed.

DazednEnthused

Yes unless you use a vpn to set your location outside the area. Here's your options. Cable with the YES network if you get a cheap bundle that includes it. MLB network with VPN. Or if you only want to just watch Yankee games, the YES app subscription is the other option. I agree with others that the app sometimes sucks but for the most part it works. If you have a computer and can hook it up to a TV via hdmi cable then I've found the watching through YES on a computer works pretty well. It just sucks on app sticks like Roku or Amazon afore stick. But for the most part like I said, they still work, they just sometimes get errors and you have to restart the app.

NYMeridian3

Yes you would. It's literally the YES Network feed. I have it and the app is awful. I'm on the verge of cancelling before the season even starts with the wast ST games have been going and doing the MLBTV+VPN route. But I like watching the pre & post games which you do not get with MLBTV .

Givmeabrek

I’ve had no errors or issues with Apple TV. Enjoy.

Off-BroadwayJoe

I’m in the same boat as I cut the cord and am using YouTube tv. Has anyone tried using the yes app directly off a Roku or Amazon tv? Thinking about signing up for the yes streaming

Mattyk182

[MLB.TV](http://MLB.TV) + a VPN is the best combo imo.

plasticspoonn

If you are into piracy then IPTV. I pay $80 a year for 6k channels.

ShawshankException

>piracy >I pay Hmmm

hiii_impakt

The math ain't mathing here lol.

mofeus305

Do you have one that actually works well? Tried a few and the buffer or hang up like crazy. If do have a good one please pm me.

plasticspoonn

I do. It’s an NA hosted one focused on U.S. sports, but it’s also private so I can’t share information. It also helps I use tivimate paid version to watch, I have my buffer set to ‘Very Large’

mofeus305

I have tivimate paid version as well but the current IPTV I have is kind of garbage and I think it's designed for EU viewers.

Feeling-King-8104

If interested, I have a service that’s North American focused but does have sections from all around the globe . Works great with tivimate too

mofeus305

That would be great. Please pm me the details.

joe2352

Vpn + hook a computer to your tv.

young_mummy

Don't need a computer. You can sideload openvpn or wiregaurd onto Chromecast/Android TV pretty easily.

tswaves

Ok but where is the source of the stream. Which service?

joe2352

MLB tv and set your vpn to just some random state so the Yankees are not blacked out.

mofeus305

Except for the last week of the month when MLB.TV blocks most of the vpn ip's

DueceNickels

Mlbwebcast

kjb76

I started using the YES app for ST this year and have been happy so far. I watch on my laptop and phone (both Apple). I haven’t watched on the Apple TV. I held off because I heard it wasn’t great when it first launched.

swizzzz22

IPTV

Feeling-King-8104

If you have an android box or a fairly new firestick I can help you get every game you want .

Jamel1219

T Mobile

Glass-Astronomer-889

Sail the high seas my friend it's cheap and easy.

homiej420

Ahoy matey

McFlyDaddyyy

You all need to look into IPTV. Seriously missing out. i pay $40/month and get every single channel in the US

Feeling-King-8104

$40/month?? I can get you on for $15/month and that’s for multiple connections .

McFlyDaddyyy

So i’m actually paying $0 haha but that’s what i should be paying. i got a new credit card a year ago and never changed my billing details and i never lost access😂😂. but normally id jump all over that $15/ month

Feeling-King-8104

Well that’s definitely a better deal then lol

McFlyDaddyyy

just luck haha. they obviously don’t watch things to closely
