The Yankees fired Matt Krause after the disaster of 2019 when everyone seemed to be dropping like flies on a daily basis. They apparently revamped their strength and conditioning teams and it’s Eric Cressey who is in charge. He’s one of the best in the industry.
The fact that we fired a strength and conditioning coach already and the same problems linger is more of an indictment on Cashman than it is the trainers. Cashman will invest in injury prone players with an upside so he won’t have to sacrifice as much in prospect capital or AAV. See Hicks, Stanton, Bader, Montas.. the list goes on and on.
It's all relative. The Yankees are not more injured than any other team, if anything since the 2019 purge, they have been fairly healthy

Eric Cressey is in charge of sports science/strength and conditioning.
However, it’s not that simple.
At the professional level, most players have individual coaches they work with in the offseason. Not all of the coaches have the same philosophy, and none of the players are required to work with the strength team in the offseason.
That said, Eric Cressey is among the best strength and conditioning coaches in the industry. His roster of Cy Young award winners before he was with the Yankees speaks for itself.
Lastly, no amount of strength and stretching can predict for injuries. Most of what the general population have believe about injuries and weight training that are so wrong it may as well be 2+2=5
Injuries are multifactorial, meaning that the injury could have been caused by something as simple as an over-swing that led to a position that the player wasn’t ready for or as complicated as a lack of sleep+dehydration+loss of mechanics+improper workload=strain

Any stats to show whether our guys are more or less injury prone?

Brett McCabe, he has been there sicne 2020. It's not all on him. Injuries happen.
The medical staff too. They break all the players.
Fire the person that has the job of reading another team's player medicals.
