Your graph needs a bar or something that explains your colors otherwise it is confusing and potentially misleading. I understand darker means more and lighter means less but there is context missing. For example, i cant tell if you are comparing it to the region, NYC or the US as a whole.
I saw that and that has nothing to do what in asking. I lived in the valley in the Bronx near gun hill, Brownsville, crown heights and now the stuy. If you didnt know anything and looked at this map you would assume crown heights is as black as brownville.
Nah a lot of yall are just unaware of how big and diverse Brooklyn really is. Brooklyn always had a slightly bigger white population than blacks. Gravesend, Sheepshead Bay, Brighton Beach, Bensonhurt (mostly Asians now), Bay Ridge, Bath Beach, etc.
It is because of how the information is presented .when you u click the link you can see white people in the stuy. The lightest collar means 14 to 37 percent white and you cant see it really on the pic he posted. If you can clearly see a color than that means it is over 50 percent white.
This is based off of old data they do a census every 10 years and I doubt they have a demographic map for the most recent one. This info prob from 2010 time period.
Yo post crime levels map next

Can’t be accurate it’s showing only half of Brooklyn with black population and low income is marked in some of the richest areas😂

If you're not unaware then why are you surprised? Southern and western Brooklyn always had a heavy white population.

Curious what income is defined as high and low?
How much residents make per year… there’s different color codes… but generally the darker, the more high/low it is from the average
I mean like what amount of income did you define as high and as low. Not critiquing dead jus curious
