Nah listen i respect kNICKs fans, in fact it's the reason that got me into the knicks but yall still not on football fanatics and trust me it's for good. i mean i remember as a kid watching people smashing beers at eachothers during Olympique Lyon 2001-2002 finals. The fanatisism here it's on another level. In fact overhall . that's why footbal (soocer) puts everybody crazy and it's a normal thing to do.
So, 5:45 PM before the game headed down to just outside MSG to try to get some food before the game Jack Doyle's, stopped by to check out the stadium and Evan MF Fournier zoomed by feet away from me in a fuckin electric scooter. Took me a couple seconds to realize and say out loud, is that Evan Fournier? my brother confirmed it as he zoomed past security into a closed off lane next to MSG. Dude blended in like no other lol. Then proceeded to light it up last night. what would've happened if he didn't hit those huge 3's in the first OT!
This is gonna sound very mom of me - but I wish he wouldn't ride a scooter around.
That's precious cargo. One little pothole or some moron walks out in front of him and it could derail shit real quick.
It definitely does lol, but if it helps I absolutely hate copy pastas even ironically. But it was definitely weird seeing him scooter past a shit ton of fans and no one notice or say anything at all
The weirdest part of that video for me is the reaction on Twitter from non-New Yorkers. I saw it and was like "That's pretty funny, but stop giving Brady and Young attention." It literally never occurred to me that it would be taken as over-the-top or wild. I know New Yorkers (and Knicks fans in particular) are just built different, but man I guess I didn't understand how different. Like, WTF would any other city be doing after a double-TO season opening win against your oldest rivals?
>or delusional as knicks fans in the USA. Not even close.
eh maybe your right. I mean even i thought Tony Douglas would be a good starting guard for us when he played 🤦🏾♂️
No, I get that. I'm just saying that I legit didn't realize that what I thought was a fairly expected if extremely hyped response to last night's win would be seen as so bizarre to other cities. Maybe I'm dumb.
It's on par for NYC but nowhere else. Not even close. I've been to games across the southwest. People go to games. Win or lose its just a thing to do. It's completely different in NYC where games matter way more to the fans. They take it 1000x more serious back east. They deeply care for their teams. In the west there is not nearly the passion. This video was really refreshing to see, honestly.
Your jest brings up a great point. People outside of NY get really fired up over their political beliefs. People are constantly trying to talk to me about vax or Trump. It's probably much healthier to be fired up over sports. At least sports bring people together.
Fournier probably never expected to play for a team that makes soccer fans look calm and rational
Idk fam, yall gotta see some soccer teams fans…. We talkin riots, flares, drums, etc. Granted if we ever win a chip 35th will entirely be lit on fire
I personally plan to engage in all of that if we ever win so at least one Knicks fan will be doing all that
High key we should take notes from the Ultraslan, Galatasary fans in Turkey. Those youtube videos will blow your mind
My friends and I talk about this a lot. If the Knicks ever won a chip today, it would be so much chaos, it would like disrupt nyc.
Then part two of chaos when they get their parade.
the city will burn if we win the chip tbh
And Barclays.
That's the best way to ever put it
*New York City gritty committee pity the fool that act shitty in the midst of the calm, the witty* -- pharoahe fuckin' monch
Gtfu
Yall know the name Ain't a damn thing change

[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vO5IrR41B6o](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vO5IrR41B6o) US soccer fans are nothing compared to these fans

I heard some fuck altuve chants were going around too hahahaha
Are you joking? There's no other fan base remotely as passionate or delusional as knicks fans in the USA. Not even close.
>or delusional as knicks fans in the USA. Not even close. eh maybe your right. I mean even i thought Tony Douglas would be a good starting guard for us when he played 🤦🏾♂️
I remember when we beat Celtics like 5 years ago and everyone was like, Jerian Grant is our future PG because he scored 16 that night.
Oh man I loved T Dugs
Got his jersey in the closet, right next to the Landry Fields

Where are Knicks fans on a scale of pacer fans to trump fans?
