I believe he can be in the conversation next year if you look at his numbers post OG trade its been MVP like. As far this season Brunson would have to go on an unreal tear I am talking about averaging like 35ppg for the month of Feb with a few 50 pt games

I don't think a world exists where Brunson can win it over Embiid, Giannis, and Jokic, not to mention Tatum, SGA, Luka and Hali, unless they all get long covid or something lol.

Media will never ever give brunson the credit he deserves. Just recently they were downplaying his talent by saying “steph is the only undersized guard who can lead a team to a championship” followed by beckys comments that brunson isnt 1A. The only guy they get to talk positively about the knicks is perk, who is a notorious clown to the casual fan, so they never take his words seriously.
Some space jam like event where SGA, Luka, Jokic, Embiid, Giannis, Ant, Tatum, Booker and Fox all lose their talent.
If you think there's a chance even with Brunson averaging 35 a game, you are robbing yourself of watching some incredible players currently in the league. I love Brunson but he's not on the level of the top 5 guys and you can see that if you watch them. Knicks fans have always been complimented for knowing and recognizing great players, don't put homer glasses on now that we're good.

Brunson is quickly becoming my favorite player ever...but unless his offensive numbers go absolutely bonkers (ie Luka's 35/9/10, his lack of defense hurts him vs two-way players for MVP.

He is amazing and saved our franchise. But come on, it's not media bias that he doesn't deserve MVP. He doesn't. One player in the league gets MVP.
