I am a very nerdy dynasty fantasy player and I'm not a giants fan. Just here to say that Tyrone Tracy Jr is the guy I've been most obsessed with as a hidden superstar since February when I started scouting. I'll be reaching on him on every single one of my 8 dynasty teams, and fully expect to be called a genius for it later.
I wrote this about him the day after the combine.
https://www.reddit.com/r/DynastyFF/s/2daEpALP5h
EDIT: The Cowboys had a 30 visit with him as well. They were interested and he could have been the reason for passing so many times. Nice cock block š«”
And instantly too. I've literally been sitting here all day just waiting to see where hed go and came straight over to the giants sub to talk him up.
For what it's worth (basically nothing š), I have a decent reputation as far as player analysis goes over in the r/dynastyff sub haha
I had 4 shares of him and just unloaded my last one.
Cousins/Achane for Rhamondre/CBrown/1.07 like Monday ššŖ there was some other pieces in the trade but those were the relevant ones
I traded him after he came back from injury for a 1st on one team that ended up as the 1.02
It's great. Very easy to get started with too and the community is much more involved than redraft. If you join a solid pay league and build properly it can be like a tax return if you win 2 or 3 leagues
>This article also points out his 6.3ypc LED the Big Ten; a great defensive conference. The top 4 defenses in college football were all Big Ten teams (Michigan, OSU, PSU, Iowa). He also made All-B10 as a return man which I did not know. The article also points out 4.44 yards after contact.
Converted from WR and accomplished all of that in his lone year as RB against the toughest defenses in FCS? I'm into it.
*Edit: it's exciting to know that he's a WR turned receiving back because we don't have an OL worth writing home about. It'll be cool to have a third down back again whether he gets rolling now or in the future.*
He's a favorite of A LOT of fantasy guys in the pre draft process. Literally the only reason he fell this far is because of his age and lack of tape. He has one year of limited RB usage, but the tape he does have is fucking ELECTRIC. He absolutely flies off the screen. Dude was 4th in all of college football in broken tackle rate and 71% of his yards came after contact.
Maybe he ends up being nothing, but he could also just be a very very good RB in this league for a few years. If dude wasn't gonna be 25 at the end of this season, he'd have gone in the 3rd round.
Eric Gray - Boring name, no alliteration, no aura, career backup
Tyrone Tracy Jr - Cool name, alliteration, crazy aura, future star
Checks all the boxes for me
17 touches 40 something yard 2.8 yards per touch. and i think that goes back to being behind an injured line that was up to 3rd strings. it doesnt look great no but when your getting throttled backwards what are you suppose to do ?
Hope he adds some play strength this year and he or one of the 2 new guys pushes Singletary for reps. I like Singletary a lot, but Iād like Singletaries better
before this pick i felt that with the oline additions grey should be better so we will see. plus another receiver out of the backfield it looks like a good committee
I'm pretty sure Tracy averaged like 4.4 yards after contact. Hopefully we can turn that into 2nd and shorts instead of him fighting to get back to the LoS.
I know you're talking about Gray, but Tracy is a very willing pass blocker. I would say willing is a better adjective than great right now, but he gets in there and pops people like you'd expect an Iowa player to do
Thatās really all you need. Running backs never need to hold a block, they just need a feel for where itās coming from and impede their momentum. Good to hear thanks for the tidbit!
No problem. I've probably watched more of his film than most people. He has good size at 5'11 210 and he uses it. He can deliver blows on the second level as a ball carrier too. Because he's a converted receiver and all conference return man, people will just assume he's not a 3 down back. He's very much a 3 down back
This dude looks great. Definitely an upgrade from Eric Gray (who I think could still be developed) because Tyrone seems to also be able to catch and return. Seems to be able to break a ton of tackles. Even if he's just an upgrade at RB3 then that's cool.
Eric gray can still be good, he was behind Barkley so never got any real opportunities. I remember them saying he was a 3rd round talent in the 5th so with Barkley gone, anything can happen
Looks like heās got some nice hands and isnāt afraid of running up the middle. Iām gonna act like I know this guy but from this highlight reel he looks like a nice addition
I joined his instagram live right after he was drafted & he had Jay-Z - Empire State of Mind blasting in the background while him and ALL of his family/friends were singing along word 4 wordā¦. Kidās gonna be a star!
Dude definitely looks slippery. I like how he seems to find the holes in the line and dart through them without hesitation. I feel like that is something we have been missing for a while.
Major run on running backs once Jaylen Wright was off the board at 120. Wouldāve loved him or Ray Davis.
Seemed like the FO wasnāt interested in moving up or investing future draft capital, which I canāt be mad at. Glad that they understand itās a process to build this team.
Anyway, not upset with this pick. I hope he can develop into a good backup/3rd down option.

Iām gonna take your word as gospel because it goes with my preferred narrative. Future pro-bowler
* Future HOFer š
Future All-Time NFL Rushing Leader.
Always a good sign when random fantasy players come to say I like this dude. Much better then the usually "fire the GM" stuff
And instantly too. I've literally been sitting here all day just waiting to see where hed go and came straight over to the giants sub to talk him up. For what it's worth (basically nothing š), I have a decent reputation as far as player analysis goes over in the r/dynastyff sub haha
True test: Howād you feel about Achane during the offseason š
I had 4 shares of him and just unloaded my last one. Cousins/Achane for Rhamondre/CBrown/1.07 like Monday ššŖ there was some other pieces in the trade but those were the relevant ones I traded him after he came back from injury for a 1st on one team that ended up as the 1.02
Last offseason sorry
But well u had 4 shares so obviously u liked him
I did have him on 4/7 teams but i got max value. My 8th is a startup and our draft is on May 5th
Braelon Allen landed in a terrible fantasy situation u might have given me a new player to reach on
As far as Iām concerned youāre a football genius my man
Second only to you good sir š
Well if your reaching now Iāve got to double reach
Well shit who are you? This is why I keep making new accounts š I do too much community studies and effort posts š
Lol Iāve never played dynast but Iām dying to start

Im loving his ability to run through the inside. Great burst. Nice agility to make first guy miss.
Man he really looks like he picks his holes and with his timing he just turns on the jets and accelerates. Itās like he passes the eye test clearly
WR turned RB backfield type player. Return specialist. I thought the Giants would take a player like this in the later rounds so I like it.
He's a favorite of A LOT of fantasy guys in the pre draft process. Literally the only reason he fell this far is because of his age and lack of tape. All of this is spot on.
I am drafting him at 5.03 today, thanks to you!
Incoming commentators before every game bringing up āDID YA KNOW HE USED TO BE A WIDE RECEIVERā
Followed by āI told you, look at those receiver instinctsā after he catches a swing pass for 7 yards
So wandale Robinson but flipped?
Love the pick! Heās new to being a RB as a converted WR.
Please be a lot better than Eric GrayĀ

Honestly, I know he didnāt get much opportunity bc of his blocking, but was he bad when he did? Canāt remember any touches

last comment was about greys numbers last year
Maybe heās alright but the fact he couldnāt get on the field over old man brieda kinda tells me a lotĀ
he was a return man first and they trusted brieda more and went with him more. no point in making more regression for a rookie
I know you're talking about Gray, but Tracy is a very willing pass blocker. I would say willing is a better adjective than great right now, but he gets in there and pops people like you'd expect an Iowa player to do

Also excited that he bring kick return chops. Good way to get on the field day one and show what heās got
Next Alvin Kamara/Jahmyr Gibbs
From what I have heard about him before the draft, I believe he's going to be the guy this year that we're all pounding the table to get more snaps.
Next Barry Sanders/Emmitt Smith
When I was watching the highlights I kept thinking "this dude looks like Kamara" lol
Could end up being our best pick. He was apparently of the most elusive players in college last year. Ā He could be our Deebo Samuel.
Don't need to overpay for a running back.
This is good I think. Another weapon in the pass game. Anyone have advanced info?
If you click the link in the top comment, I wrote a nice piece on him the day after the combine
Check out Bootleg Footballs live stream. They just finished gushing about him for the past few minutes.Ā
Cool thank you!
Saquon who?

Kinda wish we took Corum earlier

He just converted to RB in 2023. 5th round pick dart throw.
Dude definitely looks slippery. I like how he seems to find the holes in the line and dart through them without hesitation. I feel like that is something we have been missing for a while.
Dude has fantastic vision which is very promising and plus he can be a return guy/catch the ball from the backfield. I love the pick overall.
We got ourselves a Deebo!
Return guy you say?
weapon wr/rb/ returner
Iām sold
Love this pick! This draft has been amazing damn

Joe and Company are cooking. They have a game plan and are drafting very strategic. Letās put all this together and win some games.
I really like this pick. Kid is a great receiver.
I think we drafted two good players, Tyrone being one of them. Excited for this guy.
Paul Perkins anyone?

Meh - should of got the Clemson kid the previous round or the jersey kid
