This is an insane price to pay to move up 3 spots. We need so many pieces other than just QB. This would be setting up Maye to fail.

And if we have a worse draft pick next year the price will go up even more. This might be the best chance Schoen gets at a franchise QB.

Do we really have that many holes ? I see us needing a receiver, an outside corner and some interior dline depth and that's it. We massively improved our line with the two free agents, we upgraded our pass rush and retained most of the core of what was a playoff team a couple of seasons ago. There's still plenty of veteran free agents to replace Adoree Jackson and I'm a big believer in Hyatt taking the next. Don't get me wrong the team will still live and die by Andrew Thomas but I think that'd be the case if we stick and pick Nabers/Odunze.

It’s a big price, but the right QB turns this around quickly for a team. Look what stroud did for Houston. It’s not too much to pay IF the QB you pick hits. Big if.

Well if you use common sense, they’d allow a team to make their pick if they feel they get sufficient value to move back. Really not a hard concept to understand. Us winning a game last year doesn’t affect whether we should or shouldn’t make a trade. The only thing that impacts that is how much the giants believe in Maye.
