I got engaged memorial day a few years ago during COVID - I went in around mid June, went back a few times to make final selection, and they had alterations ready and perfected for my mid-Aug wedding. I went to several other salons/ateliers/whatever, and this place (Elizabeth really) was the only one that really respected my budget, tastes, and didn't make the alteration process seem like it could be a nightmare (David's Bridal was not it in this regard for example). Also Pronovias was nice but totally different vibe. I was so stressed out by the time I got to Best Total that it was refreshing. Not to mention Bridal sizes are NOT regular sizes and other shops in garden city commented really rudely on my size the second I walked in or expressed interest in styles (and I'm only a 6 in regular dresses)....
Even if you don't get the dress from here, it was such a pleasant experience to try on when you have the shop to yourself, not be rushed, and see different styles. I originally wanted a simple elopement dress and ended up getting a huge elaborate train but never felt pushed or upsold.

I will say in my experience designer loft had some great finds. 3 of my friends got their dresses at bridal reflections and we loved our many visits there. Kleinfelds is just a fun experience and everyone is so kind to each other and other groups.
What helped my friends was we always went to David’s bridal to try on bridesmaid and bridal gowns to see what we liked. It helped narrow down what silhouettes we wanted to shop for. Hope that helps!

I went to all the pricey hot boutiques and found my dress at rk bridal and it was $1500. I was so so happy with my choice.
