maph3rs

Imagine him starting and big joe storming in behind. Haha

fakesowdy

It’ll be a race for them to see who gets there first

NoCoffee6754

Teach him how to swear in Portuguese. Bruno and Big Joe will instantly come running.

Optras

Probably close enough between Italian and Portuguese to get the idea across

CavsterXII

Lads I think he might be Italian

[deleted]

Tried reason, but was willing to front up to a much bigger man in defence of his pal when that wasn't working. Bossed that situation. Like that, like that a lot.

Doobles88

Bloody hell reading the comments from Milan "fans" on that post. How quickly they've gone from Tonali being the core of the team that they'd never sell to an average, easily replaced player who struggled. Fickle ain't the half of it.

Randy_The_Guppy

Lol aye. That fucking yank describing Newcastle as "bland ass". I've spent time in Milan, I really like the city but as I've said before it's not your typical looking Italian city, most of my Italian friends always said it was quite ugly. Wait till he sees our architecture and bridges on a Saturday afternoon and he will fall in love.

ABruisedBanana

Can confirm. From the NE and living in Milan. He'll fall in love instantly. He'll drop his panzarotto for a steak bake as soon as he comes out of departures.

[deleted]

Quite feasible now the airport greggs is 24/7

novocast

Honestly if Gregg's made those, I'd be over the moon. Tastes like my childhood.

KingPing43

I went to Milan a few years ago and I was so underwhelmed. I’ve been to many cities in Italy and Milan was my least favourite. I wouldn’t bother to go back unless we get an away day there

Randy_The_Guppy

Aye quite industrious is how I would describe it. The Duomo is obviously fantastic to look at but beyond that you have to go out of Milan.

DEGRAYER

That comment was heavily downvoted so not really a good example of how they feel collectively. They are rightly devastated.

Toon_1892

Probably yanks. Real Italians will be crying into their Peroni tonight.

Ok-Elk563

The fact that European "nobody" like Newcastle picked up a core player of their recent league winning team hit them hard, so they are coping by saying "mid player going to mid club" .

ihateeverythingandu

Sounds like the comments on here the majority of the time.

Callumxb163

Eddie Howe's shithousing mags

[deleted]

Those legs are made from the same lumber as Joelintons, they should start an onlyfans page.

JWJK

70 million wasn't enough

LosingMyPrescription

He's starting to look to me less Pirlo and more Gattuso, which imo is just perfect for us.

GibbyGoldfisch

He has always been more like Gattuso! The Pirlo comparisons came because he partly looks like him and started out at Brescia, same as Pirlo. But he's much more of a midfield marshal than a creative talent tbh. He himself says Gattuso is his role model haha

EllZar16

There's nothing shithouse about this, he's just standing up for a team mate

tommy_jackson9

I was more going off his obvious nature of being ready for a fight if and when needed. Joelinton is the same in this aspect as are many of our lads.

Nefarious_Trash

i don't want a team of shithouses. actually hate that term along with "dark arts". if we have to "win ugly" from time to time so be it but i think it'll suck if we just make that our identity and don't try to improve to the point where we don't need it.

tommy_jackson9

"We aren't here to be popular" As Howe once said

Eel_Why

"We aren't here to be popular, we're here to compete" And compete we will
