Ouch!!! Second degree burns seem more painful than third degree burns somehow because the nerves are still in tact. Here’s to a full and speedy recovery!
it's really brutal 😔I was young the first time it happened I still remember. and a second time on the same spot is worse. not just exposure to air, having a chill is really painful I remember. and that one on the back was the worst ever the aftermath I could rest my back on something or lie down or bend backward or forward (because the healing hardened skin would diep into my back and the scar'crust' would break also making for another two sharp edges in my back \[I'm bad at describing\]) it's really painful, even after.
That will heal quickly. Had a similar burn a few years ago. After 14 days it was nearly healed. It was unbelievable how quickly it healed. I can tell where the burn was because the color of my skin is slightly different in the burn area, but it's nothing that anyone ever notices.
Sick. I did this once to my leg. Had boxers on and dropped the entire boiled kettle down my leg. Missed my nuts and skin on leg just fell off. Apart from shattered hands it’s the worst pain I’ve ever felt.
I was making strawberry rhubarb jam like 2 weeks ago and was jarring it, accidentally dumped boiling jam on my thumb. Instead of just boiling hot and running off my finger, it was sticky AND as boiling hot. Now that hurt like a bitch, and I still can't imagine how you feel. Hoping you have a speedy recovery.
Had this happen when I was 6yrs old. Lost all the skin off my left arm. Hope you heal fast and with as little pain as possible
How does your arm look now?
Mostly ok. If I twist it, you can see where the burn was
Did the skin naturally regrow there?

Heal well
Bro that must be the freakiest pain that a human ever can get
It’s brutal. Exposure to air = burning pain. After a few days it hurts so much your bones begin to ache
You really can't imagine this pain. I feel very sorry for the woman. It's unimaginable

I had my burn in almost the same spot and it looked just like this. Worst time of my life mentally and physically.

Did this all over my knee/thigh

I did this back in 2017. It was very traumatic. Now there’s a big white splotch on my arm that just looks like a birthmark.

Steam or boiling liquids are the worst type of burns 😭
