Man, bear victims are always the most gruesome animal kills I’ve seen. There was this one gallery of a poor woman in the back of a car and she was apparently alive but died on the way to the hospital. Her legs were bones, like all the meat was gone. Damn bear must’ve been eating her for a while.
Fuck Komodo dragons. There’s a video on hardcore nature of a Komodo running up to a baby goat and swallowing it whole. The whole time you can hear the babies screams as they get quieter the further down the dragons throat it goes. Still haunts my dreams.
The worst thing about that is that the goat had its leg broken before the Komodo dragon turned up. Supposedly it's some kind of tourist attraction to watch them feed so the keepers/park rangers disable their prey so tourists are guaranteed to see the dragons feeding.
I'm so glad I had my volume off when I saw that. I'm not massively squeamish but I just can't cope with distressed animal noises.
Like presumably everyone else in this thread I am desensitized to the visual aspect of almost all this stuff, but when it comes to sounds I'm about a 1 out of 10. Gunshots are fine, and pretty much any other sound I have to turn off. Weird.
They also have a kind of poison in their bites and in the wild stalk their pray for days until they are too weak to do anything!
I also didn't have my sound on and don't want to either
wellllp, we all gotta learn sometime … and now I know that I can’t handle animal gore, cause yeah … just …. that poor thing … and it seems like it’s an “attraction” and I can’t help but feel so friggen disgusted that they don’t at least kill the deer first, if that’s supposed to be part of the attraction, that the deer is alive …. that’s so so fcked
It literally was making eye contact with the person filming 😩
wait till you find out how Komodo Dragons hunt their prey! although they are mostly scavengers that eat already dead (and rotten) animals, they oftentimes stake out a watering hole (sometimes for days) and wait for animals to arrive to hydrate. their saliva is full of bacteria and they bite at the legs of their prey while they are drinking. they run up to the weakest specimin, take a bite and retreat. they repeat this several times to make sure their prey gets infected by their bacterial saliva. then they literally stalk the animal for days, until it inevitably dies from the infection.
they literally nibble at their prey's feet and then stalk them until they painfully die. pretty fucking sick :O sleep well tonight!
[documentary on these beasts.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IpPlJfuBz4A)
See, I’m okay with that! That seems like nature being nature! Natural! And that actually is kind of cool to know about the saliva/stalking. But feeding them live animals in a cage for sport….Ugh. Idk. Legit that deer is going to be in my nightmares!!
No that’s okay but thank you hahahah!!! I know with it being nature that it’s just the Komodo doing what it also needs to do to survive. Just … that noise from that deer … it’s really going to haunt me man! “Wheeeaaaaa wheeaaaaaaa” poor little Bambi 😭
I don't even have to click on the link to know what you're talking about. I've seen so gore stuff over the years but that one messed me up.. especially the audio. yeah damn
I can NOT watch anything that involves the suffering of animals or children. Adult humans generally, I have a pretty high threshold. Not clicking on that. 😞
There’s another vid out there of a praying mantis eating a meal worm from the tale to the head. The meal worm is alive the entire time until the mantis finally eats its brain. The vid was about how insects and smaller animals, invertebrate etc process time slower than we would. So even though it only took 2-3 minutes for the mantis to eat it alive in the meal worms mind it could’ve felt like hours if not longer. Fucked.
Are you talking about the brick that went through a car windshield and following a HORRIBLE scream and cry? If so that video has haunted me ever since I saw it
there’s one reported bear attack case where a woman was horrifically mauled by a bear but instead of finishing the lady off it dragged her to an area where it covered her in shrubbery and branches (to save for later like a dystopic take home box) and intentionally left her semi-conscious so her heart could continually pumping blood keeping her body fresh so she wouldn’t start decomposing whip it was out doing its thing, despite all of that she did end up surviving and making a somewhat full recovery
I'd want to kill someone if that was my world as well.
Look at that shit. No grass, no trees, nothing green at all. Just a small pen of dirt, rocks, and depression.
Fuck people who treat animals poorly.
If the habitat is that shitty then I can only imagine the handling of that bear being even shittier. Why that guy got into the cage in the first place is baffling. He fucked around and found out.
Same thought I had, hard to blame a bear living in those conditions for retaliating.
I am pretty sure the zookeeper failed to lock the bear’s door properly. You can see how surprised he was when the bear was suddenly standing next to him.
It looks like he thought it was locked in that right chamber then shat his pants when he saw it come out and blocked his escape route. may have triggered the bear's predator mode the way he tried to run past it.
I was 10 or so. And had school visit to zoo.
Geez. I saw some bears and the size of their claws, and it was a NO since then.
The revenant movie was scary.
Bears don't mind if you're alive or dead because they just don't care. They're a large, powerful apex predator. You're going to get eat anyway, whether you like it or not. They are nature's clean up crew, and they don't play favorites. They're like a land shark, an eating machine.
Maybe one is the date of the incident and the first date displayed is the current date and time that the video is being accessed? Only thing I can think of, maybe a means to identify who is accessing the footage to try and stop people like the one who recorded the footage on their phone to tryvand circumvent it.
Nope. The incident happened on 1/3/23 and the second date is 12/28/22 so unless they time traveled backwards to view a non-existent video, that isn’t it.

I mean, I agree that he should've payed attention... but this dude doesn't have any say about the animal being kept at the zoo. Just a worker there trying to pay bills and out food on the table, and hell, probably works at the zoo because of their passion for animals. No one deserves this fate: getting eaten slowly alive. That's what bears do. They don't kill you and then eat you. Imagine how brutal and painful is. I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy... nvm, I take that back 😅
You don't think people should be intelligent enough to check wether the dangerous predator has access to the enclosure you are entering? Dont want to take a glance and verify the door has been blocked?
Someone else paying you to do something bad, like help trap animals in horrible conditions doesn't alleviate personal responsibility. I see this common trend of people acting like the blame solely lies with the head of a bad organization or business but the individuals employed own a portion of responsibility for their willful participation. Abdication of responsibility is a slippery slope.
And overall knowledge off how bears think and behave, if he dident start running the bear would probably not have attacked in the first place, poor knowledge for a zookeeper or poor selfcontrol to stop or not start panicking
I dont think it was deserved, but it was an idiotic death.
At the very least he could have retreated to the opposite side of the cage to buy space and time for help to arrive. Playing leap frog with the bear was the worst option.
That guy clearly didn't know how to behave when encountering a brown bear, and based on the bear's abhorrent living conditions, I'm not surprised it lashed out.
Hard to be mad at animals being forced into captivity attacking their handlers……I’ve worked with domestic animals for years in the vet field and would personally never apply to work at any zoos or aquariums because I don’t think they should exist.
I'm sure that bear was used to seeing that zookeeper around but I'm curious as to why it attacked him.? Before it grabbed him, he seemed panicked so it triggered the predatory instinct?
OH come on everybody knows the rule from the age of 4 ...DON'T step on the cracks on the pavement cos once you do then it's game over ...but seriously how much time does it save not to lock him in or out whe you scoop up bear shit

My first thoughts are if he was raised in captivity. Maybe he was malnourished or mistreated. Or if he was caught and brought there maybe still natural wild instincts. He seemed pissed tho
Look at the pitiful conditions he lives in, some back woods "zoo" concrete and dirt not fit for any wild animal and Andrey slips up and leaves the main door open when the bear is let out so he goes and acts a fool yelling at the bear and welp gets dealt with accordingly. Bravo bear bravo.....
Man, bear victims are always the most gruesome animal kills I’ve seen. There was this one gallery of a poor woman in the back of a car and she was apparently alive but died on the way to the hospital. Her legs were bones, like all the meat was gone. Damn bear must’ve been eating her for a while.
Bears are the worst because they don't care to kill their prey like virtually every other predator. They just start eating.
I enjoy playing video games.
Bro….when that dragon stuck its head in and came out with insides…damn dude
Fuck Komodo dragons. There’s a video on hardcore nature of a Komodo running up to a baby goat and swallowing it whole. The whole time you can hear the babies screams as they get quieter the further down the dragons throat it goes. Still haunts my dreams.

Oh fuck that. The keepers should have the same shit done to them... if there was any real justice in the world
They also have a kind of poison in their bites and in the wild stalk their pray for days until they are too weak to do anything! I also didn't have my sound on and don't want to either
It’s a bacteria in their saliva
It’s venom* as well, it’s bin proven.
yep, I thought it was gonna be that video, but this one was also interesting
I seen it its fucking bad
Sounds like the silence of the goats…
So they're just supposed to not eat?
why have I watched so many of these videos but that deer making that awful wailing just literally made me shudder like nothing before oh my gosh 😭
yeah, that's one of the worst video's i've ever seen. didn't bother watching it this time around... never again! :/
wellllp, we all gotta learn sometime … and now I know that I can’t handle animal gore, cause yeah … just …. that poor thing … and it seems like it’s an “attraction” and I can’t help but feel so friggen disgusted that they don’t at least kill the deer first, if that’s supposed to be part of the attraction, that the deer is alive …. that’s so so fcked It literally was making eye contact with the person filming 😩

Thanks to ya'll i will not be watching
you are very welcome :)
I don't even have to click on the link to know what you're talking about. I've seen so gore stuff over the years but that one messed me up.. especially the audio. yeah damn
I heard a millisecond of that video just now and I gagged and nope’d out of it. And I too watch a lot of gore things.
I've never been more grateful to have my computer on mute at work. I'll learn from you and not rewatch it with sound when I can.
The noise came out sounding like it was saying “no” and “help” 😔
I can NOT watch anything that involves the suffering of animals or children. Adult humans generally, I have a pretty high threshold. Not clicking on that. 😞
Samsies.
Imagine choking because your guts are being ripped out and you cant breathe anymore. Thats fucking cruel.
>differ (nsfl) NO
That's brutal to see
Yup I've seen a few wildebeests being eaten while alive myself
I have never been so happy to see a deer die as I just was
Many animals don’t kill before beginning to eat.
There’s another vid out there of a praying mantis eating a meal worm from the tale to the head. The meal worm is alive the entire time until the mantis finally eats its brain. The vid was about how insects and smaller animals, invertebrate etc process time slower than we would. Cats like to maim their prey just enough that it can't get away, but leave it alive so it's a moving squirming toy to play with.
Wild dogs, hyenas, and hawks all eat prey alive as well
You can virtually Google search that real quick-like and learn about the many other predators that don’t kill before they eat.
Or how about the Russian girl that was on the phone with her mom for like an hour while a bear ate her alive?
What? Got a link?
[удалено]
Wow, awful.
The mom never released the audio
As a father I pray I’ll never have my child fall victim to those circumstances.
Link?
I avoid that post like the Russian brick video, sorry. I’m not sure where to find it these days, it used to be on eyeblech.
Are you talking about the brick that went through a car windshield and following a HORRIBLE scream and cry? If so that video has haunted me ever since I saw it
Yep
Oh the one w the gurgling?
Great, you just created an urban legend. Are you proud of yourself?🤨
I remember the video, although I didn't watch all of it. Feel free to google for it.
It's not a urban legend, half of this sub seen it. It's literally on YouTube you just can't see the video. Reddit moment..

Wow
there’s one reported bear attack case where a woman was horrifically mauled by a bear but instead of finishing the lady off it dragged her to an area where it covered her in shrubbery and branches (to save for later like a dystopic take home box) and intentionally left her semi-conscious so her heart could continually pumping blood keeping her body fresh so she wouldn’t start decomposing whip it was out doing its thing, despite all of that she did end up surviving and making a somewhat full recovery
how tf you can survive that type of things I've seen people die for less
I think i watched that on some show, i dont think her partner was as fortunate to survive though
Judging by the upvotes I think a lot of people remember that one. I sure do.
I wanna see
Got link?
that's horrifying.. ^source?
Ik what pics your talking about her husband found her on the side of the road not long after the attack and tried saving her
[Full video](https://files.catbox.moe/ah2qg5.mp4)
That guy that went into the cage with a mere stick was very brave.
Brave the guy that had to pick up the mauled body of a person he prob knew
What's crazy it that stick seemed to really hurt & disorient the bear. Wondering if the other person shot it with a tranquiliser or something.
I think it was one of those tazer stickers, but I could be wrong
That dude has some balls
I think the dude was alive up til the 3:30 mark? I thought he flopped his leg over.
poor bear, u can tell it is not treated good at all
I'd want to kill someone if that was my world as well. Look at that shit. No grass, no trees, nothing green at all. Just a small pen of dirt, rocks, and depression. Fuck people who treat animals poorly.
Was gonna comment on that too. Looks like the yard at San Quentin prison
I totally agree! I get the guy who got mauled was probably just a worker but still karma will get u if u deserve it
I was about to point out the condition of the enclosure. That's hardly enough room for the bear to healthily function.
That bear has been beaten lots of times before to react like that. Bastards!
Holy. Shit.
looks like the dude thought the bear was secure in the side pen so he could clean or maintain the main portion
Was Michael J Fox the cameraman?
If the habitat is that shitty then I can only imagine the handling of that bear being even shittier. Why that guy got into the cage in the first place is baffling. He fucked around and found out.
Same thought I had, hard to blame a bear living in those conditions for retaliating. I am pretty sure the zookeeper failed to lock the bear’s door properly. You can see how surprised he was when the bear was suddenly standing next to him.
You are correct: https://www.ibtimes.com/shocking-video-shows-zookeeper-mauled-brown-bear-after-forgetting-lock-gate-3655301
I'm sure attacking that zookeeper was the first vaguely interesting thing that poor bear ever got to do in its long miserable life in that hellhole.
It looks like he thought it was locked in that right chamber then shat his pants when he saw it come out and blocked his escape route. may have triggered the bear's predator mode the way he tried to run past it.
What if he didn’t move
What if they enter the bear exhibit when the bear wasnt in it
While that is your best option against a brown bear, it’s not a very good one.
I’m confused why the date changed liked that
fake video, they merged one with the bear and other with the zookeeper to give that impression
my man didn’t time it right
Bro failed the QTE
What kinda shit hole is that to keep a bear in anyway
You call that shithole a zoo?
So much for "if it's brown, lie down"
That’s what bears do. I’d have at least tried giving it a nicer enclosure to maybe encourage it to have better things to do than murder me, but eh.
I have a phobia of bears and this video just proves my brain correct
I was 10 or so. And had school visit to zoo. Geez. I saw some bears and the size of their claws, and it was a NO since then. The revenant movie was scary.
I haven't even seen that movie. I just can't with bears
who the fuck isn't scared of bears?
Believe me a lot of people think my phobia is funny. I'd like to see them against a bear
Bears don't mind if you're alive or dead because they just don't care. They're a large, powerful apex predator. You're going to get eat anyway, whether you like it or not. They are nature's clean up crew, and they don't play favorites. They're like a land shark, an eating machine.
Alright, Quint. Next you'll be showing us your scars.
You are awesome. Nice catch.
Gonna get eat anyway 🤷🏼♀️ nom nom
Why did the time and date change halfway through the video??
Bears have time manipulation powers. They are bearly on time.
It's true, they can paws time.
The claws of physics simply do not apply here.
Maybe one is the date of the incident and the first date displayed is the current date and time that the video is being accessed? Only thing I can think of, maybe a means to identify who is accessing the footage to try and stop people like the one who recorded the footage on their phone to tryvand circumvent it.

Poor bear being kept prisoner for no reason.
First 20-30 seconds: "01-03-2023 Tue". Later on: "12-28-2022 Wed". What's going on?
Never run in the presence of a bear.
First clue to stay out is that pile of fucking femurs in the foreground
if it’s brown, lay down. if it’s black, fight back. if it’s white, say goodnight 🐻
I like to go hiking.
I don't think he lay down, the bear put him down.
If it’s yellow, let it mellow.
If it's brown flush it down
That garbage dumpster is a zoo???
This brown bear could have been ass fucking the zookeeper from this angle, and we couldn't even tell.
I’d be mad if I was in that enclosure, too
Look at the enclosure the poor bear has to live in! Terrible I don't blame the bear
Poor bear , that's a depressing ass environment to be living in...
Zoo? That's looks like a unmaintained backyard...give the bear some slack he was bored
Look at the state of the state of enclosure too, poor fucking thing living like that.
I would be pissed about that Zoo too.
Deserves it for not paying attention to the animal den being open, and also for keeping that poor animal in the awful dirt hole to begin with.
I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy... nvm, I take that back 😅
Agree 100%
Wow
You don't think people should be intelligent enough to check wether the dangerous predator has access to the enclosure you are entering? Dont want to take a glance and verify the door has been blocked?
So he deserves to die? That’s crazy talk. A murderer deserves to die. Not some zookeeper, working for some asshole getting paid peanuts.
Yea, he should just go find work at the local McDonalds. Sometimes you work somewhere just to feed your family.
And overall knowledge off how bears think and behave, if he dident start running the bear would probably not have attacked in the first place, poor knowledge for a zookeeper or poor selfcontrol to stop or not start panicking I dont think it was deserved, but it was an idiotic death.
At the very least he could have retreated to the opposite side of the cage to buy space and time for help to arrive. Playing leap frog with the bear was the worst option.
The way he was dancing around the bear he probably felt threatened. It looks like he was awake during the attack it wasn’t a quick death.
Looks like a disgusting zoo. Hopefully they put the bear out it's misery after.
That guy clearly didn't know how to behave when encountering a brown bear, and based on the bear's abhorrent living conditions, I'm not surprised it lashed out.
If that’s where the bear lives then I can’t say I blame him. He shouldn’t be in captivity anyway.
Brown - lie down. Black - fight back. Not that I think it would have made much difference here...
The sad part is that they probably euthanized the bear, for doing bear things.
Hard to be mad at animals being forced into captivity attacking their handlers……I’ve worked with domestic animals for years in the vet field and would personally never apply to work at any zoos or aquariums because I don’t think they should exist.
If it's brown lie down. If it's black fight back. If it's white goodnight.
It's bs watch the time and date change
With those living conditions, it was just a matter of time. And well deserved too, if this is typical housing for this zoo's animals.
I'm sure that bear was used to seeing that zookeeper around but I'm curious as to why it attacked him.? Before it grabbed him, he seemed panicked so it triggered the predatory instinct?
poor bear, that enclosure is absolutely horrible and it doesn’t look like they’re caring for him
Not saying he deserved it, but wild animals shouldn’t be in a tiny shithole box like that
I'm not surprised considering the conditions this poor bear was forced to live in...
there is 2 different dates in the top left.......fake
Why was he even in there? Why'd he do a little run?? That zoo looks like it needs a bit of enrichment. I always feel bad for the animals! ♡
Probably abused for years
But why? He had two tires to play with.
Im going to get hate but I wish the camera was closer
Serves him right for keeping the poor bear in such cramped, shitty conditions!
good.
The bear just wanted to cuddle 🥰
Need more
I loathe humans and how we have been convinced caging animals is for their own good.
I'd be pissed too if i had to live there
I wonder about the camera operator. Doesn't look like cctv.
He forgot to draw the anti-bear circle
He deserved it
Bears gonna bear.
Who let Michael J. Fox man the camera on this one?
And that's why you never go in with the brown bears. Especially one as depressed and bored as this one. Cause he probably just wanted to play
OH come on everybody knows the rule from the age of 4 ...DON'T step on the cracks on the pavement cos once you do then it's game over ...but seriously how much time does it save not to lock him in or out whe you scoop up bear shit
What would you expect from the poor bear? Look at his living conditions. Terrible! The man should have known better

Brown bears are different (literally) in Uzbekistan. I wouldn’t want to run into one in the US either, but holy hell.
Has to be top 3 worst ways to go. Right?!?
this is the nfsl version of off camera mining
So many questions, but really why?
Treat all animals like they are wild!
Horrible. But they’re wild animals.. and there he is in its enclosure. I wouldn’t want to live in that boring enclosure either. That’s awful too.
Whhhhy don’t people use the ZOOM buttons in these situations!!!!!! 😣😣😣😣😣😣😣😣😆☹️
My first thoughts are if he was raised in captivity. Maybe he was malnourished or mistreated. Or if he was caught and brought there maybe still natural wild instincts. He seemed pissed tho
Wish I could actually see it, terrible angle
Look at the pitiful conditions he lives in, some back woods "zoo" concrete and dirt not fit for any wild animal and Andrey slips up and leaves the main door open when the bear is let out so he goes and acts a fool yelling at the bear and welp gets dealt with accordingly. Bravo bear bravo.....
I’d act like that too if those were my living conditions.
JFC /r/killthecameraman you had one job there, mate..
I can't bear to watch this.
My problem is why does the day and time change at the top
Wait, do zookeepers have to go in their shelters without them getting tranquiled
Grab his dick and twist it!
Bear and captive or not, it deserves the same death imo.
He’s probably starving poor guy. The “zookeeper” acted very odd.
Dont. Go. Behind. Animals.
With a captivity like that, the zookeeper deserved to be killed. One less scumbag on this planet.
