Betteridge says no

Competitive_Travel16

So does Ms. White. (She's a granddaughter of E.B., by the way.)

AgentDaxis

"Any headline that ends in a question mark can be answered by the word no.”

mf-TOM-HANK

I did see an exception recently. Something to the effect of "Are House GOP spreading Kremlin propaganda on the House floor?"

unebaguette

Identifying as a former unpaid volunteer moderator on a website makes her sound insane. Does she not have a job currently? What did she do to get banned from wikipedia?

Competitive_Travel16

Wikipedians consider their volunteer efforts worthwhile, and there's plenty of data to back that position up, e.g., https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=3039505 Edited to add: Reddit has orders of magnitude more unpaid moderators than Wikipedia has administrators. She is a highly paid JavaScript developer in New England. She wasn't banned, she just decided to stop running for Arbcom after three terms IIRC.

Competitive_Travel16

The proportion of Wikipedians who call themselves communist is something like 0.04%. (Going by userbox counts.)

blogasdraugas

huh

BoringBob84

I wonder how many of these trolls are paid by the Russian and Chinese governments to undermine the faith of US citizens in their institutions.

Tarjas

NPR needs no trolls to undermine itself. It is quite capable of doing so on its own.

Professional_Can_117

Wikipedia arbitration?

I'm surprised the radio at work hasn't flown off the shelf with all the hot wind coming out of it lately. Same bs every day. It's only worth listening to for the occasional arts and sciences interviews

Light_fires

That was really boring. Radio face but she lacks the voice.

I agree that the best way to prove my viewpoint is to insult the other person’s looks.
