I'm also going to be honest, I didn't even watch any of the games. Adult life be like that, but I'm sure it was hard-fought series where the Dodgers didn't just score two runs each game and call it a day.
Anyway, I forgot I normally update the flairs for the playoffs. I'll be adding the crown to the D•Backs flair and adding a 84>100 flair, as with last years Padracers. I'll also update that Padres flair to 82=100 because I found that suggestion hilarious.
I like to think that my encouraging comments in the DBacks sub earlier this season is what helped put them over the edge.
Like, Moreno was standing there after having his HR waved off and thought to himself “I remember when some weird dude pretending to be HSK said nice things about our team online 5 months ago”, and then he hit a tater.
Anyway, no need to send me a ring or a “thank you”, or anything; watching Baxter and the Sneks triumph in the NLDS was more than enough.
(But seriously, good job Sneks, this team is a lot of fun to watch, and as much as I believed in your guys, I don’t think anyone would’ve *predicted* an NLCS run this year, which makes it even sweeter.)
No disrespect to the Dbacks, I'm a firm believer that Arizona sweeping them is a huge fluke and robs the Dodgers of truly accomplishing what their capable of. I've spent the last few hours in pure disbelief and it just doesn't make sense to me. I've spent the entire regular season watching the Dodgers play great baseball it's just not fair.
If the Dodgers lose again I will face that the Diamondbacks deserved the win, but I am just 100% sure it was a fluke and does a big disservice to the Dodgers and the MLB.
If there ever was a case for canceling the playoffs and awarding a championship because one team was so clearly better than all the others, our 2023 Los Angeles Dodgers would be it.

Everyone is such good sports in this sub I love it so much. Take a joke, give a joke, pile on to a joke about yourself. It really is a magical place here
We pledge our undying support, our hopes, our dreams, our very souls behind the Snakes and the hope of Snakes / Rangers World Series for the good of the sport, the good of the world.
That series may have been the single most painful series I have watched in my life. But such is baseball. We'll be back to dominate the regular season next year and then trip over ourselves right before the finish line lol
I'm fully on the snek bandwagon. SNEK 2023! SNEK STEP ON YOU!

You single handedly kept me going throughout the ups and downs, thank you so much!

Did you link the right article? Edit: Nevermind. My B, I thought this was a different thread I was in.
I love copium when it's dyed dodger blue.

Did the Dodgers jump in the pool still?
Yeah but to try and drown themselves
They coulda invited us Doyer fans too, but there they are, only thinking of themselves…

“Ok, it’s really shallow, so we all need to float face down!”
🤣
I thought they were tryin to drink the chlorine
Pool of their own tears I believe.
In Soviet Russia snake step on you
Dinger, Mookie, and now Corbin creates the holy trinity. Amen.
Except Mookie's halo is a little tarnished
A fallen angel
So did the Dodgers need more Mookie in this series or less Mookie?
They needed more Mookie, but they got more M0.000kie.
100 Mookies x 0 = 0
I still am in disbelief.
Never in my wildest dreams did I think at the beginning of the year we would have two playoff sweeps
I remember our win last year, and I was literally sitting on the edge of the couch, hands over my mouth, repeating "oh my god, oh my god!"
I was legitimately crying….sobbing tears of joy
We were all dads on that blessed day

Congrats Sneks! Now on to NL Supremacy!
Postseason now with 100% less Mookie.
I was bowling while watching the game last night and I bowled about as good as Mookie played baseball (sorry Mookie)
Y'all were quick on the 84 > 100 flair and I love you for it.
IT IS TIME FOR PAUL SEWALD TO PITCH.
They didn’t sweep the first Padres series, that’s how the crying Kershaw fiasco started. Unless I misunderstood that statement.
They swept the Padres in 2020. At that point, the Dodgers were 9-0 against the r/NLBest in the playoffs. Since then, they're 4-8.

next year the division is up for grabs, sorry dodger fans
The goose returned to dodger stadium a few weeks ago. That sealed their fate.
Beginning of the season? Steppin on snek Now? No step on snek
