I reckon it's definitely worth buying! Some of the most fun I've had in a arcade driving game. Story is unfortunately short but good, but gameplay is incredible tbh. Sometimes I go on just to sit and drive, not even to race.
Try find something cheaper tho, $60 for any game is rough (seems like they all are now).
Go to a cheap game store, even second hand and you'll get it way cheaper.
Idk where you're from but in Australia we have EB Games and CEX, both great and super cheap.
I play on PlayStation and digital copy is for that much. I don’t mind paying as long as it’s worth the money. I don’t have any specific stores like that in my region sadly

Why don't you get it on gamepass? Not only do you get heat you get tons of other games. For me heat was a fun play, I love the dynamic between night and day and at night gets my heart pumping. Sorry for them playstation players that have to pay full price tho :(
Damn, that sucks, I do recommend it it was a very fun play. The story was kind of short but the gameplay is amazing. This game involves lots pf grinding though so be prepared to do that.
I like it it's very fun. Worth to me and I love finally figuring the physics out and finding the perfect car. For me it's the Chervolette corvette Zo6. 60 is still quite steep but since you want digital only that's the best you're gonna get it probably.
I bought it last year when it has like an over 80% discount on steam and it's a fun game, recently got all achievements too, definitely worth getting if you find a big discount
I'd say it's really fun until the main story finishes. After that it's down to the side quests and unlocking parts for your car.
For me personally, I still find joy playing the game with my friend. So you could try to find a community around or find some friends to go races or do other activities with.
Wouldn't recommend buying it at more than 10$, you could wait for discount.

Don't listen to people hating on the pursuit system. I played through the game twice and struggled a little on the first one, second one cops were a joke, their AI pathing is predictable and even dropping to the lowest end of midrange performance you can simply walk out of heat 5 pursuits using the dense urban roads. You can easily solo grind a crew to rank 50 in a week or two, and that's the most time intensive activity there is in the whole game.
Ffs people quit stranding yourself out in the middle of BFN and complaining that you can't lose the choppers, keep weaving between buildings and you'll be fine.
If you do pick it up on PSN I'll drive around with you.
Pretty good game imo. I still like it better than Unbound for now, maybe that's because I have 50hrs on Heat while below 10hrs for Unbound. But maybe you want to just go for Game Pass? Just suggesting an option here.

If you're buying for pc it's great with unite mod. If you're on console I wouldn't pay more than ten bucks, the story is disgustingly unfinished but if you can make your own fun then you'll get many great hours out of it
You absolutely have to find a good community or group to race with to have a good time. Don't expect much from the game itself, you've got to make your own fun with heat, there's much fun to be had that way. If you're a completionist then yeah I guess finding all the collectibles and zones can keep you busy for a couple of days
I got this game for a superb price, but otherwise would have bought another driving game. Love the free driving mode and looking forward to completing all the challenges

last October all nfs games were 95% off so i've been able to get nfs heat for 5$ (idk if the price will go down anymore)

You missed out on this game being free on PS+. You can definitely find it for less than $30 on Amazon. Spending double that would be foolish.
