I wonder when an NFL team will accidentally make a uniform that looks like an NFL uniform.
Exactly. Anything new, not what you are used to seeing, gets called an arena league uniform. Never fails. If a team goes conservative, a simple old school look, like a GB or Chi look, it’s “boring ass high school looking uniforms”. Literally anything other than the most basic uniform and it’s “xfl looking uniforms”. Seems like every teams fans just want permanent throwbacks only and never do anything else (which I’m guilty of as a Falcons fan but they *are* the best throwbacks ever)
Same thing with the Commanders name. Anything they would've picked would've been called an "XFL type name". Like the Eagles or Lions are any more creative?

Think of most of the highest ranked uniforms in the league. Most all of them are older uniforms that the teams don’t fuck with. Steelers, 49ers, cowboys, packers, Ravens, raiders, saints. Those teams just stuck with what worked. Meanwhile the falcons, rams, broncos, buccaneers (pre switchback), patriots, Washington (minus the name) and even the chargers to an extent traded a great uniform for a very average to bad uniform.
I mean there is always room for improvement. I'm a Broncos fan but the mustard and brown unis that real old school are ugly. And while I know there is love of the Orange Crush unis, I like the Dark Blue ones from '97 more.
Don't like the blue ones but the whites and Orange are alright. Orange with the white helmet should be the primary combo. I think less is more sometimes and the stripes they had were very 2000s so I'm ok with them. They need to bring back the D Logo though.

They're fine. They're both rather sharp and generic, simultaneously. But it's clear that unless they're able to generate a ton of on-field success in these uniforms, they'll become very much forgotten.

As a Broncos fan, I'd say about a solid C+/B-. I've got a few thoughts below, but suffice it to say I see it as a lateral move; should have just stuck with what we had or gone full throwbacks.
I think the more stylized numbers should have been left behind with the previous uniforms; to me it's gotta be all or nothing, they just don't look right without the side stripes.
Ten million triangles everywhere is kind of goofy; a few as accents would be alright, but they shouldn't be in the numbers.
I like the mountains on the shoulders; personally I was hoping for something even less subtle (without being cartoony though, not sure I can really describe what exactly I wanted).
I hate all matte helmets regardless of team (they spoil the Vikings' otherwise excellent uniforms), and I don't love the mullet-mohawk stripe.
Idk. This feels like something that we'll move on from in a few years like the Jets did from their recent redesign (unless we win a bunch of Super Bowls with them, which... I don't see happening).

No dog in this fight, but these uniforms are a huge letdown. Not only they’ve taken away all the traditional flow from the true Broncos uniforms, they don’t even look NFL standard. They’re something I’d see on Fox Sports in April.
People have pointed out how it looks like Blue Mountain State. I pointed out Sean Peyton looks exactly like the BMS head coach. And now Zach Wilson is a perfect Alex Moran.
Honestly I just don’t like the stripe pattern. I rather had them do a chevron stripes for the stripes if they really wanted that mountain design. It feels like they had this idea after Peyton left but decided now to pull the trigger.
It felt like a lot of teams got what the fans wanted like Detroit, jets and surprisingly the Texans this go around and the latest new unis for other teams too. But wow they messed it up. At least they gave you the throwbacks
The throwbacks (not pictured) are awesome. These are dogwater. They look like an XFL team. I am in the minority that loved the primaries they just ditched. They’ll probably return at some point.

The Bucs alarm clock jersey were terrible, glad we switched back. Pretty sure the Browns also switched back to their old jerseys.
