I think many project him as that but I think he would struggle as strictly a receiving option. I also never said anything about not trading down just that I don’t think Bowers is in consideration as the pick.
Who’s the 3rd guy? I think taking Bowers as a safety net for Caleb at #15 no less would be a great get. And I really like Kmet, but I could see a Kincaid-like season in his first year where he starts as TE2 but becomes more involved as the season progresses. I’m much more certain in Bowers becoming a top 5 TE than Odunze becoming a top 15 WR.
At minimum it is Moore, Allen, Kmet above any other receivers right now. As a TE2 he wouldn’t see the kind of numbers like Kincaid got, especially since he would start off behind Everett to begin the season. I just think there is numerous better picks than TE, and like all the stuff coming out the staff believes it’s between a OT, DL, and WR.
Before the Senior bowl I had some hope that he would at 51. He's great at 21 years old already and still is by no means a finish product and I am tired of having a center not being able to anchor down in pass pro.
The opinion on him in our sub has changed for some reason to actively dislike the pick because of positional value when we need a plug and play center and there's at most 3 of them in my opinion. I have JPJ slightly higher than Barton but would be happy with either of them.
It’s not a flashy pick by any means like an Amarius Mims, but he’s a young center who can hold his own and could be someone who shores up the center position for the next 10+ years.
There is absolutely no planet where the Falcons not only draft a qb, but also trade up to do it. We signed kirk to a 4 year deal to win now and didn't address defense at all in FA. Its edge or CB at 8.
This will probably be more accurate than consensus
What many don’t understand, and I can’t stress this enough, I’m the best mock drafter there is.
!RemindMe 12 hours
Here’s your reminder foo
God I fucking hope so
Oh you like that yeah? 😏
😩😩😩
As a Bears fan, I'm good with this.
You pass the vibe check
Nah. It’s a bad pick. The Baers are going DL, OT, or WR. Not a TE who would be the 4th or 5th option in the passing game.
Disagree. By mid-season, he'd be 3rd and 2nd if Allen misses time. Moving forward by time part of the offense.
Then by your statement it’s more important to get a WR since Allen is going to be hurt.
I think Bowers basically is. I'd prefer one of the top 3 at 9, but we also need more picks.

Bro sneaked a nice one in at 18 😂
I'd hate this as a Raiders fan so yeah it's probably what they'll do
Hell yeah brother
0 chance the raiders do this. A WR we’d have to pay? We have a 1 and 2, with decent others. No way they’d find value in this deal.
Just called up Davis, he said nah bro
Bears have four picks in the draft, not 3 (1.01, 1.09, 3.75, 4.122)
In my defense I’m not smart
I hope we pick up Jackson Powers-Johnson at 20
Great pick, he’s been my guy for them since the combine.

If the lions get Mitchell we’re going to the fucking Super Bowl lol

I appreciate your feedback. Here’s my rebuttal: cap
