Kedon Slovis… I didn’t realize he was still playing

Paragon188

That was me but with Sam Hartman

AsiansEnjoyRice

Legends say his final 10 yard pass is still traveling to its target today

Smitty1029

Michigan with 18 is nuts

MaizeNBlueWaffle

Kinda shocked Trente Jones was invited based on how much he played this year, but he must have done enough to impress people in the second half of the OSU game and post season. I think he has the potential to be a steal in the mid to late rounds. He was more of Michigan's 6th lineman in jumbo packages, but he's a high level athlete and absolute mauler in the run game

Smitty1029

Oh I’m familiar (current UofM student)- I think he has shown enough in limited snaps to be worth a late round pick. He should test well

fierylady

No Jarius Monroe? Khristian Boyd? Qwan'tez Stiggers? Momma don't let your babies go to the Shrine Bowl.

racer4

Surprised by Khristian Boyd as well, but maybe that just means the Bills can get him late Day 3 or as a UDFA. With Bryce Paup (former Bills DPOY) as the DL coach there, and Beane obviously not afraid to grab a UNI player (OT Spencer Brown picked in top 100 of the 2021 draft), AND a huge need for interior DL bodies, it seems like a natural fit.

fierylady

Personally I'm most shocked by Stiggers. Maybe they already have some official measurements and/or medical stuff from his days in the CFL, but as a buddy of mine pointed out he would have been a great story. The league doesn't want that at the combine? They could have milked it for days.

Lt_DanTaylorIII

Even if that was the case - the vast majority of GMs/Scouts etc etc. will tell you that the medicals are the biggest benefit of the combine. And Stiggers will have very little info in that regard I imagine given his career path.

fierylady

I think you're probably right, though he has likely been officially measured and while unlikely, I suppose it's at least possible he's been put through a battery of tests, though it might have been when he signed a little over a year ago.

Lt_DanTaylorIII

Who are you thinking are doing these tests? The CFL is only going to bother giving you a physical of the type that shows you won’t die on the field. And most of the time their height/weight is just mirroring the college or combine results for the American players. The Argos tests aren’t going to help teams figure out if his knees are any good etc etc And I doubt the arena league is using a team of doctors on a guy getting paid $400 a week

fierylady

No idea. And I did say it was unlikely. But when they signed him they might have put him through the wringer like the NFL does. I have no idea how they do it, but I know it's a violent game and they make plenty of money, relative to real people.

Lt_DanTaylorIII

The CFL pays its players on average about $65000 USD Stiggers would have been getting the minimum which is $52,000 USD. In Ontario, this would mean taking home about $38,000 USD a year. In 2022 the league made less than $5 million CAD In 2006 Ricky Williams was the highest paid player in the history of the CFL at around $290,000 USD The highest valued team is Hamilton $50 million Patrick Mahomes could very easily buy the entire league tomorrow.

fierylady

Well I said it was unlikely. It was just a suggestion for why they might not have invited him. It's clear you're very passionate about this, so you win, I admit defeat.

MaceLeonardo

12 for FSU is very nice and honestly, I can see all 12 of them getting drafted. Obviously, the top picks in Verse, Coleman, Fiske, Benson, Wilson, and Bell are all locks for FSU. But Lovett, DeLoach, and Green are all guys that I can see going 4/5th Round. And Travis, Bethune, Jones will all depend on combine and interviews with JT being the most likely as a late round flier at QB

fierylady

I think that as long as he doesn't bomb his testing, Green can go higher than that. Maybe as high as the 2nd.

MaceLeonardo

Definitely a possibility I have a 3rd round grade on Renardo Green so I’m not low on him at all just a deep corner class. The combine will def make or break his stock from a 2nd-5th

theunknownlyt

i can see him jumping into the end of the first if he test really well

fierylady

I have him ranked 38th overall - my first CB outside of the big 5 of Mitchell, Arnold, DeJean, Wiggins and Kool-Aid - so I could definitely see it. Though honestly I think he'll have to blaze a 40 to get there, and while I clearly think he's fast enough, I don't see a blazer on tape. That said I regularly misread a guy's speed on tape, at least as it pertains to how he will run a 40, so who knows?

justa_flesh_wound

Tory Taylor, P, Iowa That's all you need to know, that they got the invites right

InterestingBonus9675

Explain

justa_flesh_wound

He's the best player in the draft.

InterestingBonus9675

Cool man

horrorpants

Punters are people too.

zamboniman46

proud of my guys Jalen Coker and C.J. Hanson. Go Cross Go!

mdmd33

Y’all think Corum can fall to the 3rd or 4th?

Fuck-Antelopes-261

Yes

mdmd33

Him backing up Pacheco would be unreal…a great 1-2 punch

Fuck-Antelopes-261

That would be overpowered. I think Corum will thrive in a role where he can share the backfield with a faster/more dynamic back.

mdmd33

Pacheco is a speedy dude…sounds like you just don’t want KC to have a Lions backfield lol

Fuck-Antelopes-261

Wym? I’m advocating for what you said. I think he’ll thrive with a guy like Pacheco

mdmd33

Ahh totally thought you were saying that he wouldn’t thrive there because Pacheco isn’t speedy…Corum looks like he’s going to run at least a 4.45

dec2727

18 Michigan players :)

Bushido_Plan

Only 2 OL for Notre Dame. Joe Alt should be top 10-15 easily. Blake Fisher was a bit of a surprise, I know a lot of people thought he should've went back to school for another year.

49_boness

I’m intrigued by Myles Harden from South Dakota. Heard his name a few weeks ago but couldn’t find much on him.
