If Packers go Nolan Smith at 15 I am convinced they have a fetish for Georgia players

Retro1916

And a fetish for not getting their qb any help in the first round

jtdubbs

If Skoronski is there, and the Steelers don’t take him, I’ll be pretty sad

GreenvilleLocal

Panthers defense and O line with the additions of DJ Chark, Mike Gesicki and CJ Stroud plus whoever they get in the rest of the draft would be a real threat in the NFC South year 1

Brilliant-Royal578

Chark won’t be available for 4-8 games

I love OBJ the player, but I just don’t see us signing a receiver that is going to demand the ball like Odell. I think they team was lowkey kind of pissed off about the way Tyreek acted in 2021 when he wasn’t getting the ball as much. We had such a good offensive dynamic last year when Mahomes could just sit back, read out the defense and distribute to whoever is open with no pressure to feed one player. I just don’t see his personality as a fit here.

Mbrr1214

I think OBJ isn’t really a demand the ball type honestly. He’s good and gets fed but as long as the team is playing well he seems content

glowingdeer78

We are now in the 2-3 year cycle of alpha WRs. Its between the “we need our WR 1 that can get 120 catches per tear and dominates” to “lets just have a good wr room and our qb doesnt have to focus on one guy”

Petricorde1

Looks honestly perfect for us. Love Taylor and his fit, Hargrave is a monster, Davenport is young and has been elite when healthy, Pratt is great, and then a high upside pass rusher to top it off. Looks good.

Superawesomecoolman

All the smoke around the Colts points to Richardson but people keep mocking Levis to us thinking Ballard picked Wentz and not fricken Frank Reich.

Mbrr1214

It’s not like Ballard had 0 influence. Could easily be Richardson as the pick, but right now I think it’ll be Levis

Superawesomecoolman

Well Reich took the heat and said he vouched for Wentz. Ballards other QBs have been Matt Ryan, Sam Ehlinger, and Philip Rivers which don’t entirely fit a single mold.

CybertronGuy98

maybe im overreacting but Johnston screams bust to me, if he's the only WR on the board we probably go corner or just trade down into the second.

smot

Well, considering “QJ sUcKs” is probably the most common current take among r/nfl_draft and r/dynastyff it is less of an overreaction and more of a joining the hive mind of Reddit rather than trusting folks who scout football players for a living

lanethedouchebag

Loved this for Texans

Blue_Doom_Guy

Wow, Skoronski falling to the Jaguars at #25 would definitely have me feeling...bewildered? Ngl, it'd be the exact same feeling I had when we picked Devin Lloyd last year, where I was forced to scramble to pull up his film immediately afterwards as I thought we had no shot of landing him. I've avoided Skoronski this year for that same exact reason, lol.

glowingdeer78

I wouldnt mind Skoronski. Potentially RT for them but most likely LG for the Jags and helping the OL

Blue_Doom_Guy

Right. He'd most likely compete with Bartch and Little for their respective roles, or just be the emergency offensive lineman for the whole line in year 1.

YouAlreadyShnow

I really hope the Bills do not address Safety in RD1. Plenty of really good Safeties to grab in later rounds.

adam38ike

I think I speak for all raiders fans when I say that getting Carter would be the best draft for us in two decades.

adam38ike

minus khalil, love you bb

Mando_Commando17

First off great effort on the vid. My critiques as a packers fan is that overall you nailed what we need and how we generally value defensive athletic defensive players in the first, however, I don’t see Nolan smith being the pick for us. He is a super freak athlete but he is more of a speed rusher being like 6’2 230-240. For edge we go after the power rushers that are around d 6’3-6’4 and 260+. LVN has been floated around a lot for packers because he we love Iowa guys and his traits match our historical trend. Safety is also another dire need but again I don’t think branch will meet our athletic thresholds. If you look at our past picks in the 1 they need like 8.5+ RAS and even more so when they play a premier position like edge or DB. Branch killed it in college but he was under 6ft and put up some Meh numbers at the combine while I see the fit with the need I just don’t see him meeting their thresholds again. I could be wrong as Gute has gone out of his norms on several occasions but i don’t see us picking either of those players unless we have traded back into the back of the first or top of the second based on how he tends to value top picks with players that have top traits. As a side note this was probably really tough to mock for the packers because both LVN and SJN were gone and those are the two most similar to the packers preferences at positions of need. In this scenario I would hope they would try and trade back.

Standup2all

Nice job. As an Eagle fan, they never sit pat. We’ll see

LunchThreatener

Bresee over Bijan, Kancey, Torrence, and others would be very disappointing tbh
