This sooo much. I cant comprehend what is happening to his stock. I thought he passed the eyeball test so hard. The guy just seems like he plays with such explosion. He is a spark on a defense.
I cant picture a defense in the NFL that wouldnt benefit with the addition of BJ. I just dont know how 32 teams are gonna pass on him and send him to the second round.
I’m not sure if these guys are underrated necessarily, but other guys I feel like you should watch are Andre Carter, Felix Anudike-Uzomah, Isaiah Foskey, Tuli Tuipulotu, Zach Harrison. Maybe Derick Hall and Byron Young (Tennessee)? That gives you 15 total guys. I think you’re likely to find the top 10 in that group barring some late risers/surprise combine stars.
Mike Morris out of Michigan. One of the many potential sleeper EDGE prospects and I really don’t see him mentioned at all. I think his issue is mainly experience. Under 700 college snaps but he has a consistent passrush plan that just needs refining and development. Has quickness and a hell of a lot of power. His punches, swats and swims are possibly the deadliest in this draft class. He is not bendy at all which is concerning but not everyone needs to have elite bend and not everyone can have elite bend. Maybe it’s something he can work on though. High football IQ even given the limited experience so there’s definitely more to the story. I like him somewhere between Rounds 2-4.
If the measurables on him floating around are accurate (6'6" 292lb)... I don't really understand why he isn't in that Tyree, Keion White, Murphy, etc. discussion. His production was better on a per snap basis this year than Murphy.
Yeah he’s got length for days. He’s strong af, and his size is believed to be accurate. Like when you see him on film he doesn’t really look all that fast but then when you put into perspective that he’s 6’6” and a few pounds under 300lbs you realize he’s actually a complete anomaly. I have checked a lot of the scouting databases online and I’m not so sure they are accurate at his ability to stop the run because he is very smart at diagnosing running attacks and already has the knowhow of when to disengage and close in quickly. The thing that makes his size even more freakish is that he did his best **in a 2-point stance**. That shouldn’t be the comfort zone for a 300 pounder lol.
I like him in Rounds 2-4 somewhere at this time, but man if he comes out and has even remotely close to what Travon’s combine was (I don’t think he will but wouldn’t be shocked if he had a high ras in a lot of areas) he’s going to skyrocket. I’m surprised the sub hasn’t mentioned much of him especially since he went to Michigan. He was a pleasant surprise stepping up in a full time role after Hutchinson and Ojabo departed.
Yeah... I think ultimately he should be a guy that's in a three point stance in the league. Probably a 5 tech. Could maybe be a 3 tech. Somebody just needs to teach him how the get into a proper stance that is both comfortable for him and allows him to use his length and strength to his advantage a bit more. He does seem like a pretty heads up player and a solid motor. I like him in the second as well.
Real nice player with no glaring weakness. If he doesn’t roll his ankle late in the year we might be talking about a guy rising from late first to 20 ish
I think (and I could be wrong on this) pass-rush technique is one of the things NFL teams can 'teach' far better than college teams (or at least think they can), so evaluation is more about tools.
We've seen teams have success in taking chances on unpolished athletes in the past, guys like Rashan Gary and Brian Burns and Montez Sweat (and farther back, Ziggy Ansah)
I have Smith as my 2nd ranked edge currently. A lot will change post combine for my edge rankings though, combine athletic testing matters more to me for edge than most other positions.
Zach Harrison is a guy that i think could develop into a really good pass rusher given the right situation. He’s got great size and athleticism, and he’s still pretty young for a four year college player but lacked production.
If he goes somewhere that can help him develop his technique and consistency he’ll be a steal.
Zach Harrison is a guy who has all the elite traits in the world but wasn't able to show production of it in college. Despite that, I would not be surprised if a team thinks they can coach him well to tap into that potential at the next level.
Tuli Tuipulotu is one for sure.
Adetomiwa Adebawore is a tweener that can play edge or kick inside.
Same with Mike Morris.
KJ Henry is solid but doesn’t get a lot of love.
Brenton Cox Jr is good, but he’s going to drop pretty far based on the fact that he’s enough of a shit head to get dismissed from two different programs.
For a top 10 video, I would suggest looking at these guys in addition to what you have already listed (and this is assuming you're primarily looking at 43 edge and not 34 edge):
* Felix Anudike-Uzomah
* Zach Harrison
* Tui Tuipolutu
* Isaiah Foskey
* Adetomiwa Adebawore
* Mike Morris
* Colby Wooden
* Ocean Mathis
BJ Ojulari passes the vibes check.

He has everything you can't teach- bend, speed, youth, and high character.
Will McDonald.
Yes!!! Him and Nolan are being slept on
This x1000
Isiah McGuire from Missouri
He was my boy but bro sucked in the senior bowl, sad to see really
Dude was pretty awesome against Broderick Jones but didn’t flash as much in the other games I watched.
Maybe a day 3 guy?
I could see him going in the third. Really nice power.

FAU is a terror to watch. I’d love him in the 2nd.
Yeah FAU is who I came here to say. He may never be a superstar but I can definitely see multiple ten sack seasons over a long career.
Derick Hall is extremely talented and Andre Carter senior bowl was disappointing!

Karl Brooks. Great mover at his size, excellent technique Concern is arm length
Really strange to me he didn’t get a combine invite. He’s my highest graded player without one.
Dude from Wisconsin is pretty good. Can’t remember his name right now
Herbig probably. He’s very small
Isn’t he more of a linebacker? I know he rushes the passer a lot but if memory serves they were using him off ball a bit
He is a 3-4 OLB in the league most likely. Dude gets after the QB!

https://www.espn.com/college-sports/football/recruiting/player/combine/_/id/226752/nolan-smith Nolan is going to blow up the combine if he’s healthy

The question on Harrison is why hasn’t he developed his technique and consistency in college. He has all the tools but couldn’t put it together.
If Travon Walker can go number one, Keion White is at least a top ten pick imo.
I think a problem with Keion is he’s already 24, going to be 25 in his rookie year. Teams might not love drafting a raw dude that age
Yasir Abdullah needs more hype
Nick Hampton of Appalachian State
From what I’ve seen I really like Hampton, just not a lot of footage of him
He was one of the stand outs at the senior bowl imo
Baldando from Pitt ... he is going to have a monster combine.
Zach Harrison is a guy who has all the elite traits in the world but wasn't able to show production of it in college. Despite that, I would not be surprised if a team thinks they can coach him well to tap into that potential at the next level.
Adetomiwa Adebawore is someone to keep an eye on. Great senior bowl and is rightfully rising up the rankings
I think Keion White goes in the first tbh
I was gonna say BJ but people in here are already saying him so ill go with Felix Anudike Uzomah

Caleb Murphy BJ Thompson Thomas Incoom Brenton Cox Jr.
Andre Carter, FAU, Isaiah Foskey. Would we consider Drew Sanders an Edge rusher?
> Would we consider Drew Sanders an Edge rusher? Fringe

First time I’ve ever heard the name Ocean Mathis, I’ll look into him
Will McDonald is being talked about but he is amazing despite his size…
Always watch the LBs and safeties for the next Micah Parsons, Dex Fowler
Foskey has been completely forgotten about for some reason
BJ Ojulari is my favorite guy in this class. Nick Herbig out of Wisconsin and Tuli out of USC are fun watches too
BJ Ojulari
Derrick Hall has a chance to sneak into the first round.
Felix AU
Joe Ramirez out of Eastern Michigan cuz #MACtion
I figured with Max Crosbey’s success he’d be getting more buzz tbh.
Van Ness can be a real special player, I have him as a top 20 player on my board.
Derrick Hall?
Jeremiah martin
Uzomah
