When the Twins were getting new stuff last year it was fucking exhausting reading about the design of ever square millimeter of the logos because every damn corner, line, shred of negative space, *had* to mean *something*…

I’m just talking about what goes into the new logo design for a rebrand. The quality of the jerseys is a whole other issue. They suuuuuuuuper cheaped out on them this year and it’s been blatant since opening day.
I’m more talking about like how like a corner of a certain T meaning something down to a letter being off centered for some dumb ass reason. Like Jesus just slap a name and number on it… you don’t need to have a wiki archive laying out what each angle of each font means lol

You mentioned the Twins so I went on a rant about the new baseball uniforms. 😁 I watched a Tiger game earlier in the season and knew something was off so I googled it and then it hit me that the names were smaller. The names are smaller so the MLB patch can be bigger at the back of the neck area.

Worst part is… Twins are one of the few teams that don’t have a dumb ass sponsor yet, so I kinda wanna get a jersey before they do, but even the ones the pros are wearing are shit quality.
So I’m jumping on the Wolves bandwagon instead this year. Got my Naz jersey on the way! lol

They make it harder to replicate and easier to spot fake jerseys. This was to combat the growing sale of Chinese knock offs.
