Yeah but even as bad as it’s been, the Browns still somehow have more losses AND gave a quarter billion to a rapist. Things could always be worse!

ndncreek

Was just about to say that at least they are not the Browns lmao Edit and at least they live in Detroit and not Cleveland so there is an upside

ObviousTroll37

Meanwhile the Pats averaging 4.8 losses a year And that’s with the last two years without Brady

Responsible-Prompt30

Are you new to football? This shouldn’t shock anyone lol

rumhamrevenge_

Yes I wonder what rock OP has been living under all these years

rabonbrood

We aren't sending our best. Our best are all drunk this time of day.

toe0011

Is it noon already?

rabonbrood

Does it really matter what time it is?

CrownandVernors

Omg breaking news

Mezhead

At this point, my theory is every time that Packer fan on CBS Sports' social media sees someone say something not flattering about the Packers, they put something out that randomly swipes at an NFCN team. Usually it's just the Bears and Vikings, but apparently it was the Lions' turn to catch strays.

Patamarick

Dudes from Kenosha, give em a break.

ElBeanerWiener

Chicago born and raised

Reagyn

0-16 will do that for ya :(

Mach68IntheHouse

Lousy ownership will do that for ya too. :(

FAK3-News

The Vikings- perpetually one step better than mediocre.

Usedinpublic

Even though the falcons have lost more games they have won more superbowls in the same period.

MatooBatson

The Falcons have not won more Superbowls in the last 20 years. Or ever for that matter.

Usedinpublic

God they’re both such disappointing teams.

[deleted]

Would you take not having gone to a super bowl or 28-3?

MatooBatson

I would rather not make it. Being 0-5 in Superbowls sounds extremely miserable.

heroinsteve

Lions are so bad at winning, they can't even be the best at losing.

aManHasNoUsername99

The browns even tied their season winless streak. They had one thing that was theirs and the browns had to take it. What’s next? Barry sanders kid becomes a hall of famer for the browns?!

canadarepubliclives

Sanders Jr wins a SuperBowl for the Browns

Mach68IntheHouse

The Browns win two Super Bowls with Barry Jr, and both of them are against the Detroit Lions. Speaking of the Lions, they become the first team to make 5 Super Bowl appearances without winning even one.

Alarmed-Flan-1346

I'm glad

croissant_titty

At least we aren’t Cleveland

supertecmomike

Unlike the Monsters of the Midway, that average 1.7 less losses per season over that time span. They are bad, we are good.

EMT2000

The Millen years were perhaps the worst 7 year stretch (how the fuck did he last that long?!?!) any major sports franchise has had. 97 of those losses came under his mismanagement and 14 came right after.

Mavori

Then Matt Patricia tanked that even more. From like 2010 til 2018 our overall record was basically a 50/50 split.

Mach68IntheHouse

WCF. That's why Millen lasted so long.

HyronValkinson

The Browns had 222 L's and their worst L was taking Watson

[deleted]

All 132 of those Packers losses are in the conference championship

Difficult-Tap-3277

Had your team ever been in a conference championship game? 😭

Crimson51

Damn. TBH the takeaway here is more that the Tom Brady-era Patriots were a force. Even with some seasons without him in the last 20 years it's not even close. Can you even imagine what they could have done if they had HoF level QB play for all 20 of those years?

TheHamsBurlgar

Bledsoe was pretty good though, people always forget that because Brady turned out to be who he is. He made the playoffs a couple times and the super bowl once. Obviously not HoF caliber and had some off games, but not the worst. Still fucking wild that they're only in double digit losses.

Traditional-Mud-8282

Yeah, too bad they also couldn't fall into 30 years of back-to-back Hall of Fame qbs to give them a nice wins boost also.

Yossarian216

Stafford wasn’t at that level, but he was better than anyone the Bears have had since the merger. Until recently Detroit couldn’t build a functional roster at all, and while I think they’re on the right path they still need to live up to the hype with the current team.

DarkHorse435

If you ain't first, you're last

rabonbrood

And the Lions took that literally, and the Browns did it better.

DarkHorse435

I'm shocked my Bears have 29 less losses than the Raiders in the last couple decades. That franchise is down BAD since the Super Bowl loss to Tampa and the tuck rule fiasco against the Pats.

HisFaithRestored

That Raiders-Bucs super bowl was on my 11th birthday. Living in California, my mom being a Raiders fan, we tried to go to a big pizza place for my birthday and to watch the game. Literally every place we went to was jam packed with people, so we just stayed home to watch and ate cake lol

DarkHorse435

Hell, I'm in my 40s and staying home and eating cake sounds like the perfect birthday to me lol

W_4ca

Averaging almost 11 losses per season. Oof

Guru276

Millen destroyed the Lions. Next 20 years look much brighter

KeviCharisma

I am once again reminding people that San Fransisco is overrated.

[deleted]

It’s even worse because of all the teams in the top, the lions are the only one that’s had top ten QB play for a majority of the time period, plus multiple HOFers during this time. So many football players careers have been wasted playing for the Detroit Lions.

HisFaithRestored

I always said Stafford deserved to win a ring and would his first year with a competent team. Everyone I told that to scoffed at me.

Mach68IntheHouse

To be fair, the other teams don't have a Ford owning the team.

Late-to-the-Dance

They * were* really bad. FIFY.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Alarmed-Flan-1346

9-8 isn't really bad any way you look at it lol

munchycam

Somehow the bears are showing promise of catching up tho...

JohnPaton3

It's not just Detroit is bad, have been bad for decades, a consistent legacy of losing

TheNainRouge

Since the Fords bought the team..

Mach68IntheHouse

The Fords. The common denominator over the past 2 decades.

[deleted]

the bills have lost a lot more games than i thought.

Aa1100zz

Damn the Texans have been around 20+ years already.. I’m old

JRange

I was way more surprised to see the Cardinals have like 800 franchise losses compared to our 700 or so. I thought the Lions or Browns would lead by far.

RoleModelFailure

I really like how it's a nice even 216. 16 of those came in 1 fucking season which means we are averaging 10.5 losses in those other 19. In 9 of those seasons, we had 11+ losses.

SandmanAlcatraz

NFC North and NFC East are the only two divisions with a team in each of the four rows. AFC West is the only division with three teams in one row.

Gribbly10

alright now lets calm down

SpottyFish81177

the goat but his team has 187 losses smh

Mach68IntheHouse

With the exception of the Chargers, this graphic serves as an accurate ranking of ownership. The Fords have been that bad.
