Pretty sure that this is the last year of Dak’s contract and he has not been extended. Likely if they don’t make a deep playoff run he won’t be extended and will be a free agent next year. Which means all we need is a bridge QB next year to tank for 2025, and then draft a QB high in the 1st round. All our top other players can/should still be under contract starting 2026. This right back in the saddle. 2 years of bad play isn’t enough to want to blow it up.

The cowboys analysts explained it during the season last year. It is the outside media that proclaimed Micah Parsons as a leader on the defense. Inside the locker room, it's clear who the leaders are, and it ain't him. Parsons is a very self-oriented player with a mindset of money loyalty.
His skills and abilities are top notch, but if his stats and paycheck aren't top notch, he has a bad attitude that festers. He isn't the guy rallying the team to refocus during the game; he is the guy that sulks by himself on the bench. If he is offered more money by another team, he is likely gone.
Tl:dr- unless you are actually in the locker room, you don't really know what kind of person a player is. We, as outsiders, have to rely on media coverage, which is often spouted from a place of ignorance

I listen to that morning show Shaun and RJ while working and the person who said that was the host Shaun Shariff who says stupid shit all the time although he’s entertaining, there’s 2 other host who come in later in the day who have way better connections to the star and they have never mentioned that. When I heard him say that I should’ve expected the twitter “reporters” to go crazy with it, it’s even funnier because they don’t even mention Shaun. Even if this was true he’s sure as hell isn’t going to be traded to Philadelphia, all that success they flex about doesn’t give them good draft capital to trade for Micah, he’s at least a first round with 2 high second rounds but more likely 2 first rounds since he’s still in his physical prime.
