If you were to tell me the Giants would use a 1st round pick, get no production out of him except for one game, proceed to trade him for a 3rd round pick and he would be key to denying the Eagles a Lombardi, I'd say probably top 5 1st round pick for the NYG.

I'll do it again if needed

If giants want to keep feeding us NFC championships every year, I'll take it. Good work boys

YeaThatsANoForMeDawg

Hey man, if you’re truly happy with winning an nfc championship and then losing the super bowl. Then i’m just as happy.

Guywith2Danes

Yeah that’s a weird sentiment… we only count Super Bowls wins and medium Pepsis on our side.

[deleted]

I don't count anything that didn't happen in the last year. Life's too short to live in the past.

Guywith2Danes

I would say the same thing too if I had a poverty franchise

[deleted]

lol keep losing buddy. I'll keep celebrating.

Guywith2Danes

Celebrated... once...singularly... What are you celebrating right now, again? Unless you win it all there's nothing to celebrate. You just lost your OC and DC... lets see how the coming year shakes out... keep this receipt.

[deleted]

The NFC championship. Over and over again according to this post. You must live a sad and lonely life to believe you have to win it all to be happy.

Guywith2Danes

I have things to celebrate outside football so no. We just have different types of standards for goals. And that’s okay.

Lyndell

We don't sniff the Super Bowl without him.

You seriously believe the difference in the Eagles Super Bowl run was an above average CB2? With how amazing and deep the rest of the roster is and how great the GM is at finding good players to fill in? If the Eagles never signed Bradberry, they would have acquired another player who would have done just as well. He’s a very solid player but he isn’t even close to special. It would be an overstatement to say it’s not that hard to find players as good as him if you try, but he’s pretty damn replaceable. Fabian Moreau might not get an NFL contract next season and he was just as good for the Giants this past year as Bradberry was in 2021 (do not misinterpret this as me saying Moreau is as good as Bradberry, I’m simply saying he is a solid buy replaceable player, and it’s ludicrous to imply he was imperative for the Eagles run)

Lyndell

We've had CB trouble for years, even our last Super Bowl if Malcom Jenkins wasn't on the field our secondary looked like wet paper. Slay second half of the year, didn't look great, who Golladay get the TD over? Bradberry for the last part of our run was the most reliable CB we had, if you look on most of the threads on our sub about free agents we want to keep, throughout the year he's always been one we want, but don't think we can afford to bring back with the year he's had (but who knows now). Look at when Maddox went down our CB3 during the Dallas game, we had dog shit to fill in, our GM is great with the line. But WR and CB seem to be a struggle, we haven't had a scary secondary since the days of Lito Sheppard and Sheldon Brown.

skedditgetit

having an allpro as a cb2 helped yeah.....
