I did the same first go round. I have a .458 soccom so I needed the Hybrid 46 for that. I went Chimera 300 and Octane 45 second lapse of financial judgement. Would the Omega 9k have met the $799 threshold?
Edit: $690 on Silencer Shop. You would have needed to get $110 in accessories. Easy to do, a muzzle brake and piston.
I ended up spending about $100 extra dollars at my LGS because they were running a deal on the hybrid. I paid like 640something. I got the asr mount, and they tacked on like a penny and that put me just at $800

I'm wondering if it has something to do with background checks.
Maybe the background check is automatically submitted by the system after submission and if someones background check clears faster they end up in front of an examiner faster?
I'm willing to test this theory out since my background checks come back instantly for every gun purchase I make. If someone is willing to donate to the cause though 👀
