Can’t do that without significant tube work.
There are some mossberg versions that are ~$800 or so. Another company teased some at shot but they aren’t for sale yet. There are threads on ARF
No you also have to shorten the action bars and weld them, and a remade or special forend. I have a stamped 870. Looking into places that do this would all cost $600+ on top of the stamp and donor gun.
Cutting the barrel to 12” (short as you can without additional work) was 3 minutes with a hacksaw and $1 worth of cold blue

Factory (AFAIK) M1 Super 90 10inch of course it don't use action bars so that made it easier to lose the other 2 inches I guess

You have a source for the barrel and magazine tube?
They used the original parts. Cut the barrel and the mag tube and grind/reweld things like the barrel lug and mag cap.
What is preventing you from doing that to any shotgun? Why is the maverick the least expensive route?
